It did, you simply had no way to know since you couldn't (usually) reduce the strength of golden cards. Now you have D. bomb, so you can see that the ''green'' buff is just the +2 from the NR passive.

I use Triss companion mod, it also works with Ciri and gives you an option to talk to your follower and in the case of Triss kiss her. It doesn't work with Yen though. There are some other follower mods on Nexus I believe, but you can't interact with your followers(I'm not sure though, I never used them). You can find the mod I'm using here:

I haven't really felt the need for Aelirenn, because if the opponent isn't beating me badly they rarely have that many cards out, and it's easier to just thunderbolt the neophytes anyway. I had her used against me as another deck once though, and it was devastating, so it can work. She might be more suited to a more removal focused deck that maybe doesn't have Ele'yas.

Depending of when is played, it can be as good as scorch.
You can play a gold card and then everything that comes after that is considered ''the weakest card'' so you have that.
It is used in damaging/control/removal specific decks, but yeah, I wouldn't recommend using it in regular decks.

You should really savor these moments, because they will not last. There is no matchmaking meaning that anyone of us will easily get 80%+ winrate, but when the game releases the matchmaking will pit you against tougher opponents when you win and lesser opponents when you lose meaning you'll win around only 50% of the time (anyone who knows the matchmaking in dota or rocket league knows this 50% feel - that's what matchmaking does).

Grind those wins and pray they don't reset everyone's progress. Because it's easier to win right now but it'll feel like even MORE of a grind when there's proper matchmaking.

Also you'll be up against pay-to-winners when you do well, lel.

They are going to take a nerf. Don't know when or how, but it needs one.
Crazy cards + crazy card advantage? Oooooh boy.

Nobody complains about them cause mainly ''pro'', veteran players play with them and against them, and that part of the playerbase is not prone to complain and whine in forum and whatever.
But eventually, they'll need to be balanced.

The other option is to give the other factions more card resistant to the Scoiatel tricks. Like cards that can't get damaged by special cards, only by units.

Still, I think in a ''healthy'' game, a winrate of ~50% is ''good''. Something between 40-60% is what most players should get.
Of course, if you are good, you'll get a much higher one. But if you are a bad player having defeat after defeat, that will make leave the game. So the game should make you face people as bad as you. On the other hand, if you are good, face people as good as you.

Things are like this now, more or less. Problem is, most of the top players are just spamming cheese decks. Is not a matter of skill, is that the meta is fucked so some things have no counter or give you very little room to handle them, like ST's card advantage.

That's how things are now. That or people that milled the other 3 decks and only focus in one deck with one reliable tactic.

Fringilla is one of the characters that got the worst treatment, her cameo in the main game ended up being very lackluster and Toussaint was a perfect chance to give her a bigger role, but CDPR ignored her completely. She would have been a better and more interesting fling than Syanna, but instead she ended up on the waifu graveyard. Shame.

And if you hear / see that they are sending big waves of new keys, play. Seriously, is the best part. You learn, you start understanding how every deck works and what cards are better, you see people creating their decks not based on the meta but on what cars they get in kegs, you do the same...
Is the best time, really. There is some kind of ''sweet spot'' between the ~15 level and ~55 that is just wonderful.

After that, you'll just face the same top guys over and over again. And you better have a consistent deck, cause you are gonna get destroyed otherwise.

Overall, It can be fun, but competitive modes for pro players and a fcking good MMR needs to be implemented ASAP.

Is not so good at higher levels. As you say, is very, very hard to have card advantage. You'll need Avallac'h, Toad and Decoy and in those cases you are still giving one card and 6 golden point to your opponent, Giant Toad is ok, but is not rain resistant so ''Meh'' in weather decks, and Decoy... What would you Decoy in a Monster Deck?

At worst, you play Hjalmar with a control Skellige with Harald as leader.

Hjalmar + Kambi requires two golden slots for a maximum of... 2 points.
Seriously, if you play Kambi you give your opponent 3 + 15, while Hjalmar only gets to 20 once the giant is killed.

Even worse, if you play against NR you are giving them 5 + 17 points. You lose 2 points by doing that ''combo''.
And you can't even use D. Bomb to get rid of the passive cause it affects Hjalmar too!

The good news are that the card is so bad you could expect a buff at some point.

Yeah, but it's mostly Ciri's animations, male animations make the shoulders wide and it looks ridiculous, I'm still trying to test out all the different animations, there are a ton of them and I just started messing with these mods. It's nice how you can make pretty much any clothes/hair/face combo. You can even combine different clothing pieces and make custom outfits. I'm basically playing dress up with my waifu dolls :3

I can't remember the exact name, but it's a mod that changes Yen's facial features so they resemble a porn slut I guess.

I have something a bit similar going, except for no witchers or dwarfs other than Yarpen, more hawkers, plus Ele'yas and Isengrim to finish with. It's ridiculous how many people let me buff and AR the hawkers so that I don't even get to spam neophytes.
