I just got curve as brewmaster, my advice to anyone wanting to play the class, do it for an alt not for a main, its not terrible but it's not like people describe the high skill ceiling thing is a meme.
It's a slightly unpolished class that can't handle magic damage very well and punishes you twice as hard as other tanks ever get punished.

That being said, I'm looking for an alt to play because no one is going to touch a BrM tank for mythic.
What is fun, easy, and doesn't take convincing to get people to invite me. I'm done with ions meme class.

affliction is incredible for questing/leveling.
You can DoT everything, have your Infernal tank them while doing aoe, then drop Phantom Singularity to melt the entire pack. Any that might survive are killed by the others exploding.

Game of whack a mole, if its up use it like every other tank this expansion however what will separate a good Pally tank from a shit one is SoTR staggering, for example people will just smash it when ever you get a charge up on Deepbeard in Eye when there is no damage going out as hes doing a quake into a stomp and once he stops casting his abilities and starts hitting the tank you have no passive 50% damage reduction.

So it all comes down to staggering your shield of the righteousness to maximize the damage reduction.

I recommend marks, I prefer no pet because its more interesting/active to play, but some people may not enjoy it.

Blood DK is also "casual fun" simply becasue you can solo nearly anyhing in the open world, wander wherever you want and just not give a shit that the mobs are chain pulling elites with 12 million hp, because you can pull tank and cleave to death 5 at a time.

Im level 855 and don't know what im doing with my life, i hear combat is a "good" spec but it's rng can just go fuck itself, taking SND instead of dice gives me 30k dps increase. Assassin is fun with all this bleed but aoe damage is shit (i barelly ever get vial procks) and sub only good after 880. Should i stay in ass and just deal with no aoe damage?

How do i get gearing at this point anyways? Low lvl keys don't give upgrades (lol titanforged yea sure) and no one wants me in low lvl ones. Did i really reached the point where i have to find a guild for raid or get lucky? And i won't ever see kara because im not a fucking range dps, zzz.
