SSD is at its most fun when you are 2-4 players who co-op.
Using co-op situations like someone plants trees, it boosts everybody else.
Someone has timestop, the other 2-3 players wreck the archfiend in the meantime, and one of the other players set a terrain trap which passively attacks the locked archfiend.
Someone rolls into a ball, the other player has ARM spell and baseballs the firend into the archfiend.
Someone co-activates the global fireboost spell, some other player is attentive and co-activates the spell periodically, all 4 has fire spells which wrecks.
Three players have barrier spell, one cast from all three freezes archifiend for 10 second in the barrier while everybody wrecks him.

Co-op SSD can be awesome when its spell collection is used to the max.

I'm playing Extella, with SAO:HR, Yahari and Macross as backup. There's SaGa and Shantae (I think) coming up. I think I saw some positive stuff for Neo Atlas, but that's not quite my cup of tea.

DG2 is pretty much DG1 but with fixed characters, 50+% more contents and quite a bit of tweaks. The inclusion of the touching mini game isn't very well received, plus many people think the Demons' illustration is worse. I think those two are pretty critical hits.

Mary Skelter is pretty good on the story and settings part in my opinion. The combat is kinda nice, with 3D animated enemies and special Nightmare fights, but the dungeons feel a little too unnecessarily long which may make the exploration feel a little mechanical after some time. The dungeons have gimmicks that make them more interesting, so there's that.

DG2 is much easier to consume, since they split the dungeon parts into smaller chunks. You can probably finish the main game in 30 hours or so on easier settings.

However, if you already feel overloaded I don't think you'll want to touch these two to be honest., even though they are decent games.

However, I should add that it's actually a very small section, probably only 10 to 20 minutes per character, so I guess it's meant more like an extra feature. However when the mechanics is simple and the art not that interesting, I guess it can backfire for some people.

These things should always be optional, they could make a trophy attached to that stuff but that's about it in my opinion. But thanks for the info, glad to see informative people around here.

Will probably buy it anyway when they bring out to west, playing the first DG at the moment and I quite like the dungeon designs and the demon system. All these Vita games will last on me for next year with my playing speed.

It's pretty much guaranteed if you use 1h swords or at least grind them enough to get the good support skills from that tree you'll get dual wielding soon enough. Just like how liberal shield use gives you heathcliff's skill, or backstabbing and getting crits a lot gets you assassin's blade

Dual blades isn't outright the best weapon category in the game anymore since you can't pair it with another extra skill, and Nebularaid Empress didn't carry over from hollow fragment
