stand literally next to your AD, just space enough that you dont get caught in any AOE he gets caught in. For example if against an ori, space far enough from him that her ult can't get you both, but close enough that you can heal/shield/speed him up or peel melees off him.

Mainly as a ranged support your job isn't really to find fights, it's mostly about winning lane pressure and making it hell for their carries to damage yours.

She requires extended duration to the fight to really get off her combo (unless it's a charm on a super squish) so focus on kiting around the fight with R, popping as many Q's and W's as you can and HITTING the charm. Doesn't matter if you wait 5 seconds, doesn't matter if you use 2 ult charges, use it when you can hit it, not when you think you can get a max range outplay.
