It was around that time when they removed over 50% of the cards and everyone was left with tons of refunded chests, crystals and gold with nothing to spend them on. The forums were filled with players who wanted their money back because they spend alot on crafting legendary cards which was no longer necessary with the new card system. Because Overwatch is buy-to-play, there's a far lower barrier to getting cosmetics. OW only has one currency, and you generate that currency from crates or duplicates; you can spend that one currency on practically everything in the game (barring golden guns you get from competitive). The only microtransaction OW has is buying more crates.

Paladins has F2P monetization, so they have to be much sneakier cunts about how you get cosmetics. Plus, unless you buy the game (Founder's pack, etc), you are not guaranteed all champs for the lifetime of the game.

It's why I'm an advocate for B2P games in general: because F2P monetization is bullshit.

As mentioned, Paladins does a few things right compared to Overwatch. With regards to cosmetics, Paladins lets you be much more granular with your customization and lets you pick and choose between multiple parts of your character, as opposed to Overwatch's single-costume ensembles.

Did some testing with this Skye card and it turns out, it's broken.
Normal Skye reload speed is 1.3s. NF1 reduces that to 1.0s (far more than 10%), NF2 to 0.7s (you reach reload speed cap with Deft Hands 1), NF3 to 0.5s (reload cap), NF4 to 0.5s (literally useless to have).
Though the numbers don't exactly match up, best guess would be you get reload speed per poison bolt fired, aka 3 times the effect.
Get Pollution 3 and you're non-stop at max reload speed.

The class system is so stupid. If you don't have a team, you need at least 10 champions that you're comfortable with playing. If you have a team, you need at least 5. And every champion plays like a completely different game. Why punish specialists?

The reason I rank Immovable so low is because resilience is so strong and they won't stack. If I am having trouble with stuns I will get lvl 3 res which gives 90%cc reduction. Anything more than 1 point in Immovable would put you over 100% cc reduction and you are wasting points
