Does Halo 5 Forge have anyway in-built way to find people to play with? Is there any spartan unlocks available to custom game only players? I Haven't played since the best halo game ever made, (ODST), and I'm hype for getting back into it but don't have anyone to play with.

The last Fractures story describes him settling on a distant world with Chant-to-Green and giving up their suits and tech to live an agrarian life until, presumably, they died of natural causes.

Allegedly, the whole of the Great Journey was a carefully-planned spread of Forerunners over a large territory where they'd gradually die out.

Though Bornstellar also told Riser that he hoped that Humanity and the Forerunners could meet again in peace one day, so... who the fuck knows. It's entirely possible that whoever the absolute fucktard morons are running the story have trashed that particular thread, as they are want to do these dark days.

It's 343i's fault through and through. Yes, they built upon what Reach was, but fucking up movement, the weapons sandbox and vehicle balance is entirely their doing.

I don't think anybody would deny that the series was going to go downhill regardless, considering the last few years, but to deny Bungie's parting influence on what their series has become is simple-minded and reeks of the same illogicality by which those with obsessive brand loyalty would defend Halo, and by extension 343, by dint of it being Halo.

In short, there's plenty of blame to go around. Throwing some just indignation at Bungie need not lessen that which is tossed 343's way.

I have to agree with >>160513454, while there was heavy criticism of Reach, it was also heavily defended. /hg/ and similar pockets of highly critical fans are outliers; it was my general assumption, during Reach's early months, that it was the most popular and well received Halo to date. Only when I delved fairly deep into the online community did I notice any real anger or hate directed toward it (and it took a while to see their point, admittedly, especially after all the praise it was given outside said communities).

tl;dr People ate up Reach and it was a not-entirely-unreasonable assumption that the direction it went in was the culprit.

Personally I think that Halo's population, especially during Halo 3, was always bolstered by the common player whose loyalty is solely determined by how popular they think a game is. I know some of the most diehard Halo 3 fans who were also the most receptive to Reach's CoD-esque changes and asking for more of the same.

The Didact was a Warrior General of the forerunners who fought ancient Humanity. He lost all of his children in the war, but his warrior servants eventually defeated the humans.
After that, the flood showed up and the Didact tried to compose the remaining humans into flood-proof Promethean knights, but the librarian, his wife, stopped him. He was sealed away in a cryptum on Requiem. However, a copy of his consciousness was obtained and transfered over into another forerunner. This guy essentially became the Didact in mind and eventually saw the error of his ways. He activated the Halo rings to save the Galaxy from the flood, killing everything within range, including himself.

The original Didact was still mad and imprisoned in his crypt Um until chief woke him up.

TL;DR there was originally only one but 343 wanted to use a piece of the existing EU for Halo 4's big bad so they said "UH, OK THERE'S ACTUALLY 2 OF THEM!"

Banshee; it depends. Normal banshees are fine but the firepower of banshee raiders is too much. I get that they're a boss but it's a pain in the ass for round 2 on Apex since their plasma cannons tear through you incredibly quickly. Only level 3 reqs is pretty shit unless you have a wasp and know what to do. Grunt jockey was nerfed so it doesn't one shot your tank / upgraded mantis with wheelman any more with needler supercombine. If you're talking about the GJ on round 5 for Apex; that's mostly because 343 is retarded and you cannot aim down properly in a scorpion if you're on a slope.

As for the wraith strat; it's fun but you'll want to have wheelman for it due to splinter grenades and do not use the standard wraith. Sword, Ultra and Temple are fine because increased armor. It's a shame that you lose the vehicle once the round is done since you cannot get out with it but it's better than losing that round.

I've been saying that Cryogenics isn't about suspending living bodies, it's an entire branch of science. And that cryonics is a sub-area of cryogenics, not "more like necromancy or reanimation" as you call it.

And you missed the entire point when you first butted in. You specifically talked about killing them, then bringing them back to life, then said that's what cryonics is. CRYONICS DOES NOT INVOLVE BRINGING THEM BACK TO LIFE. Cryogenics does, and you've already admitted that.
