I'm currently in the process of downgrading my N3ds XL and just wanted some clarification on why I am doing certain things just to be better aware.

Currently I am on 9.2 after a successful downgrade I believe. I received no errors but I was unable to hold down the automatic homebrew launcher button so I had to load it normally instead. Is that normal after downgrading? I was able to successfully open decrypt9WIP.

so even at that point i didnt know that we had already been fucking with post 4.01 exploits

as for the point on loading - yes the kits are MADE to do so, so its not an accomplishment in that regard, but the fact the games are decrypted and resigned (the part i didnt add) is the part to focus on. if you werent aware - the testkits/devkits for ps3/vita were what allowed people to really get shit going on retail systems after it was figured out enough.

it may seem like nothing, but progress on kits is really good news as its only a matter of time before the retail counterpart gets a method to do the same

Guys please help, whenever i press A on Pokemon Sun in the JK savemanager the bottom screen turns red and nothing happens.

I can't get into the import/export screen anymore. I deleted the previous Sun folder from the JKSM folder but it still doesn't work.

I know this is because i deleted the lurantis .cia and installed the freeshop version of sun, but how do i fix this? I just want to import my previous safefile again. Please help

Export the save, and then replace it it with the lurantis cia, and then try importing it.

I copied the lurantis sun save before i even downloaded the freeshop version, so i have it on my computer. I also deleted the sun save file folder from the SD, but the problem is i CANT get into the screen where i export a new save. It freezes before that.

I'm going to get a legit physical copy tonight and was wondering if I should transfer my entire lurantis save or just start a new file and copy my old pokemon's pk7s to the cartridge. Also I still have a celesteele in the gts from before I got banned can Nintendo track my original save that way and ban me on another 3ds? If so it's probably safer to start from scratch and transfer all of my old Pokemon to my cartridge with my new trainer Id. The only things I'll have to do are play through the story, buy all of the clothes again, catch the legend and ubs, and complete the alola dex.

Nothing. That post did an extra step though to replace your NNID with a blank one. You can access the eshop again, but you can't do anything related to NNID (download demos/pokebank/whatever, though I believe you can still buy games/dlc and still download updates)
