Pyro would rape mei, soldier would rape pharah, demo would destroy junkrat, etc.
Because there are fewer of them, tf2 classes are on the whole better in more areas. The only way overwatch would have an advantage is in terms of health as the average is higher.

i had a game that i unfortunately did not record, when we were up against double bastion and i got a nano boost, i couldnt get any closer because i was in sight of bastion, so i fired a quick rocket and instantly barrage, killing him before he could drop me.

long range, definitely better to drop a rocket before you ult, especially with a zarya ult.
close range? it's up to preference, but i'd rather not gamble on weird knockbacks.

The most fun I've had in 1v1 is honestly Sombra. It's perfect for that map and actually feels fair. Teleporting is dynamic and that map is made for sneaking and attacking from afar.
Next best is S76 and Pharah.

The trend of winning/losing comp right now is becoming dominated by the presence of D.Va and Winston as tanks with two very skilled healers, specifically Ana.

This is, uh, not what I expected from this patch at all. I thought D.Va was going to be trash. But it appears that the combined disruption and damage shutout from the highly mobile D.Va + Winston are giving tons of time and space for other mobile and high damage output DPS heroes to get serious work done.
