The Mag+15% is good, but it's not worth the price - You're talking thousands of stamina spent for it, and it's not *that* much better than a mag+10 - It's more worth your time to grab a shantotto or two and get their Mag+30%, since the stamina cost is pretty similar.

After setzer, many many units can replace edgar. But he's the first.

CoD is a fucking relentless, cold, human killing machine that enjoys her work to her dying breath.
50% innate all-elemental restistance, 30% to all status, Aura ball to shut off DPS units, Curaja-spam Cecil and foolish mages without null Silence. Omni-veil to put her own elemental res to 80%, making elemental attacks - both physical and magical - trivial.
Even with shit equipment, she'll deal 999 to all units in the arena (except tanks) thanks to man-eater stacking - meaning Barrage is shit for chaining, but good to punch literal holes in teams, one turn at a time.

And obviously against human bosses she's simply a bloody murderer.

Once the "holy trinity" will be released, I'll still use CoD because you know what? I don't want to use donuts, I don't want to use an annoying mc of a game I didn't like, and Orlandeu is only good with DW AND 2 Excals.

Also got one encounter with 3 Metal gods right now. I now have enough for Gigantuars and Fine Alcrysts/Phoenix Downs/Elixirs or the 6* Awakening mats and have nothing of value left with the Jewgle King(20000+Karma in inventory). I guess I'll use the rest of today to grind out Karma and then tomorrow get Maxwell and catch up on content and grind out Espers/Hero Rings.

At the end of the event, I'll do a one day Karma grind and then sell off that Karma for sweet gil.

My favorite part of FF13 is how Sazh's guns are quite large and bulky for being basically pretty low-power guns, but Lightning's sword is a fully functioning gun along with being a sword and it's all much more compact and even neatly folds up when you holster it.

There's basically no reason Sazh couldn't just dual-wield gunblades, just in case he needs to stab a guy. It'd even be lighter and smaller than his actual guns.

CoD is far beefier than WoL, she can take a hit better than him. So giving her Diabolos always makes more sense.

Went back and mastered Necrophobe EZ-peazy. Literally made me wonder how I didn't master it the first time. Firion BSB is some serious shit.

And after two wipes to Balamor last night, I did him this morning. Switched to a magic attack set up so I could aoe his dullahans down, afterwards my spells did pretty much no damage to Balamor - so I let my trusts handle him while I stayed out of harm's way.

Except for the Twin Lance, I would prefer if I had gotten different items.
The Kotetsu came from 200 mythril on the BSB fest with Twin Lance on it. Didn't get it.
In the previous fest I allocated 400 mythril for it and got it on my first draw, so I felt lucky and did 2 more draws. One 1/11 TL and a 2/11 Beatrix BSB+ TL.
I got 2 SGs on my WHM half price Lucky draw. Trying for Shout I did a draw on Keeper 2 for 1/11 SG.
So yeah, they are alright, but still would have preferred variety instead.

No, that's not how it works. DEF ignore doesn't scale with the defenses of an enemy, the way the damage formula works it just multiplies the modifier.

So say you have a skill with 25% def ignore that does 1.5x damage. This is just a fancy way of saying it does 1.333333*1.5= 2.0x damage.

It does 2.0x damage against any enemy, whether their defenses are sky high or not. These skills are always balanced so that the final multiplier is on the same level as similar skills, so there's no point.

And gee, if only there were people who already fought her to confirm that she's not nerfed. I guess we'll never know, because that didn't happen or anything.
