It really doesn't work in English. Japanese has block shaped characters, so highlighting one looks fine. In English, it just makes Iwai's name illegible and looks fucking dumb.
Atlus USA have put very little thought or effort into the UI of this game. Compare the "gaya" SFX in the Japanese version's speech bubbles to the "whisper" in the English version. They're hand animated in Japanese and have an actual drawn transition and animation. They're just fading in and out in English.

Did anyone rip the Japanese font yet? I know someone who's compiling issues with the English graphic design (he's waiting until the stream to see if there's anything more to add). He tried finding the font but didn't get that far, and I'm figuring he could really use it.

Agreed. Normally a delay's a shame, but this one's specifically to polish up the localization quality (which people were complaining about), and you're getting free dual audio as compensation along with a free system theme.

It's not delayed by that much either, just 7 weeks. That's way better than people feared when the delay rumor first came up.
