She had tried with all her might. But she let a loud rumble rip, and shortly after toilet paper was thrown at her head from the toilets, and other girls standing nearby attempted to discreetly leave. The most common side effects I've heard of are cramps and nausea, but weight and mood problems are things too. As far as I remember those were from birth control pills that also stop menstruation; maybe that anon had a non-contraceptive anti-period pill. Dunno, anything that messes with that should have those same hormonal implications and thus potential complications.

Keep in mind that voice actors are currently on strike, so it's unlikely that they'd be pushing forward with any serious VA work currently. And even if Hannah is just not striking with the rest, Ashly is one of the big faces of the strike, so it would either be that Ashly simply isn't involved in the hypothetical Season 2, or her stuff is being done separately.

But yeah, Hannah does lots of sound stuff. No real reason to assume it's LIS related.

Maybe Wells threw out that chair after the storm if it was damaged. Chloe saw it outside in a pile of trash (Or it ended up in the junkyard), took it, cleaned it up, and now it's hers.

Are there any folders in the game's files you could find?
I've seen some people complaining on Steam forums about no UI in the menus and they solved that by disabling the anti-aliasing on their graphics cards. Perhaps you could do the reverse of that and enable your anti-aliasing if it's not already.

Tried that, I assume it was fixed in a later build. I assume if I could somehow find a build from before late 2015 it might work. Then again I have a brand new 1070 so it might not work at all. I looked for every form of UI enabling function in the .ini files and all that did was crash the game. I assume if I dug really hard I could find the movie file itself, but getting that into a playable format (game files are usually locked) is an entirely different story.

That would be a small prize, but Chloe won it honestly and it's a deer so that means it's special.

As for that cuddle I think they're leaning against a tree or something. The sunlight means they're outside.
I'll say they're at Blackwell. Chloe standing under a tree, waiting for Max, Max comes out of class looking noticeably disappointed and a little angry, Chloe asks what's wrong, Max says she just got out a test she thinks she failed, Chloe hugs her from behind and gently move them to be sitting under the tree. Chloe tells Max to relax and breath. They both sit for a few minutes just enjoy each others presence, the warmth of the sun, the sound of the birds and fountain, and the gentle breeze.
After a few minutes they get up and Chloe drives them to Two Whales for some sweets to feel better.

So I just finished this game I have some things to say.

I think the biggest letdown was the nightmare sequence and the fact that there were no real consequences for your actions.
Let me start with the nightmare. It's a pretty common trope to take a character out of the real world (at the moment when the climax is fast approaching), and present them with a philosophical problem at the final hour by way of a dream sequence (or variant). There's nothing really wrong with this trope, per se, but the problem is Max didn't learn anything. All we got was a rehash of what happened, some trippy pseudo-psychedelic time distortion, and a literal conversation with Max's shadow. There was nothing there. We were presented with the concept that she was irresponsible with her powers (a fact most of us already picked up on, what with the fucking tornado and all), and the idea that changing small things has larger consequences (a fact that we already learned from saving Chloe's dad). So the main climax of the game is nothing but a rehash of lessons we already learned. There's no real climax in concept, it's purely plot related, and in a game that its almost entirely about the subjective interpretation of how small details in the past shapes the future, that's a fucking problem.

Next, the consequences. You either let Chloe die (effectively making the game pointless), or you "let" a tornado kill a bunch of people. Let's talk about Chloe. Her dying to save the town makes thematic sense, in a way. It's set up the death of one person (Chloe's dad) can save others in the future. If you picked this ending, you are basically excepting the mantra "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few", which is technically true in the greater scheme of things. The problem comes from that was Max's lesson. Not Chloe's. So when it was Chloe's fucking idea to kill herself to save people's lives, it doesn't make any fucking sense. She didn't learn that lesson, so she should have no idea that it would even work. This is a girl that hasn't been to other timelines, mind you. She has no greater understanding of the intricacies of time travel than a goldfish, and certainly not even close to what Max knows. How does she know it would even work? Why doesn't she think it was just a freak weather pattern, and dying would have no effect on the fucking weather.

Oh, and if you let the tornado kill people, the devs basically hold up a middle finger towards you, clearly telling you which on they think is the "moral right". What a joke.

Even though thematically one can say Chloe dying makes sense, characteristically, morally, and logically- it doesn't.
Max would never left Chloe die and Max used her power before saving Chloe so if the storm was caused by Max's powers, Chloe's death would fix nothing. Plus it would mean Max once again messing with time...to fixed something supposedly caused by messing with time in the first place.
As for the point about Max being irresponsible, I disagree. Aside from a few times where she messed around with people, she was extremely responsible and learned by saving William that changing certain things (Especially that far back in the past) can have huge impacts later on.

At least you realize that the endings were bad and the messages were negative or non-existent. Especially when they try to make it a one vs everyone else dilemma where the 'everyone else' is free to run or find shelter. Not that it matters much since the damage they show after the tornado indicates the storm was nowhere near as severe as Max feared.

The idea for the nightmare seems to have been to condense main narrative intentions into a short sequence of "psychological"(/allegorical) reimaginings (or just recyclings) of the week's experiences. This can work in the sense that while the player could have made those connections in a larger narrative context, it was specifically about confronting Max with them and herself within that.

Doesn't mean I like all that they did with the nightmare either. Could have been more than it is (for example tie in with more themes that were prevalent but then silently dropped), doesn't always work at what it is supposed to be (as a psychological processing of the week's experiences for Max, there's some questionable stuff in there such as things she couldn't have known or others that weren't priorly even hinted at in her characterization or development (like fear of men), and as a psychological confrontation of herself, the "overcoming" and "coming-to-realization" step of it was not really satisfyingly well-established, not least because they decided to cut Chloe helping her fight these manifested doubts, fears and insecurities - so the Pricefield sequence feels more like "blissful ignorance" than "liberating realization", the nightmare more like a stacking of emotional and psychological issues rather than an accepting and embracing, i. e. a working through those issues - not least because Max says "It was horrible!" after coming to on the cliff, when the intention clearly was for it to be an eye-opening and liberating experience that builds all the shit up and them jumps over it and she over herself - again, accepting and embracing through those lessons her decisions and herself) and obviously has some clunkiness and other issues in execution such as pacing.

Still, I see that realization and self-embracement in the nightmare (she literally "overcomes obstacles on her inevitable way to the lighthouse"); the issues for me lie more in execution than concept.

She definitely has photos on her walls. In fact, I think much of the decoration in her dorm she brought directly from her room back home. The photo memorial wall for sure. In the contest selfie focus we see her moving in, boxes on the desk and stuff. Since she's only been there a month, most of her photos, posters, records, books and so on should be from home. Of course with some she took there mixed in.

And she did bring the pirate selfie of her and Chloe, so she definitely would have more reminders back home too.

If she managed to make her dorm this comfy in a month, I'm also sure her room back home is top comf. Over the time they are there, Chloe will love it for its cleanly, quirky homeliness, the Max-aura it emits and of course for the time spent there together above all. Just like Max fits so comfortably and naturally in Chloe's room; idly going through her stuff, finding it all very interesting, happening upon things of their past, plopping down on her bed, immerged in each other's lives.

Yeah, Max's room in Seattle would be hella comfy. Probably have a big bed, a nice TV and game system, beanbag chairs, little paper lanterns strung up, photos on the wall, and a drawer full of her photography stuff (Film, books, etc.). And a little corner where she put up everything from her with with Chloe, which Chloe will get extremely emotional about when she sees.

I like what Biuesman did but my problem is that it feel like 80% Chloe and 20% Max, instead of a 50/50.
I like the general idea, and really like the three-piece photos of Arcadia Bay, but it's too messy and dark. Chloe's room got messy and defaced because she stopped giving a shit about it and felt too depressed to fix it.

But that was more the living room of a house than a small apartment. For supporting I picked Joyce (In the past I chose Rachel or Stella). She went through the same pain and loss Chloe did, and handled it differently (Arguably in a better or worse way), but she's still going through life and finding happiness where she can. Her, Chloe, and David will have a better relationship as time goes on. Though there is no doubt things all three of them need to work on as individuals and as a family, still I have hope and think they would do it.

I don't think I've ever experienced a piece of art that makes its universe seem so real to you. Arcadia Bay and its characters feels like as an actual place as much any other location you've been in real life, and I think this music really highlights the powerful atmosphere they created.
