Honestly mastery and runs should just go away. 99% of the time it's the keystone that matters more than the rest of the page combined and a bunch of choices are no-brainers. Feels like mastery pages just exist so Riot can jerk themselves off to keystones and the supposed deep and meaningful gameplay differences they bring when they're mostly a pile of stats and a few minor passives.

This game was 12/6/12, the new keystone is pretty bad on her, and the current keystones are all pretty bad. Against 5 squishies you can go stormraiders but otherwise I don't see much point, you don't get too much value out of any of the keystones, and 12/6/12 gives you a lot.

I love the ultimate changes, they are pretty much exactly what I wanted, but I hate the passive change. First off, it's entirely rng which dragons you have access to. Secondly, your mid and bot lanes can lose beyond your ability to save them, which will mean you have no passive for the entire game. This gets even worse as Top Shyvana, where you rely on your teammates for the most to get your passive, and you really need the current free stats passive to survive the earlygame.

The changes to w and e are a bit bizarre but I don't think they will really matter either way

If you want to learn a skill, play Caitlyn. There are very few lanes Caitlyn shouldn't stomp into the ground early if played properly. She'll teach you wave control and the nuances of lane trading.
If you really want to master a skill don't pick a champion who gives you a crutch, pick a champion that gives you tools and expects you to use them and succeed.

Yeah, that's basically what you want to do as Mister Yen. Did you go with the shitty on-hit build (which is way worse since tank Yi isn't a thing anymore) or the Crit build? If you go with Bloodrazor Red Smite, PD, IE, Statikk, DD (Replace w/ Mercurial if they have loads of CC) and EReaver, you can get ~400 AD, 2.4 AS in Highlander, 100% crit, and 40% CDR. It's not good, but I love it so much.

You have to remember one very important thing. As Sion support you're not there to follow your ADC. You're not one of those support players who's going to sit in lane and soak up exp all laning phase while occasionally healing.

Can someone explain to me why Illaoi seems so good yet always loses?

Every time I play against an Illaoi they get like 3 solo kills in lane, they're impossible to kill, and they completely shit all over your team every team fight by flash ulting and dealing 2000 damage to everyone while fulling healing up in the process.

Despite this I don't think I've ever lost against an Illaoi. I just don't get it, the champion seems stupid powerful with all the AOE damage, the instant win ult, and the infinite healing, but her win rate is still only 50.45%

Her W is no longer her form of waveclear guys, it only sets up for clearing a wave and closing gaps. The skills you use to actually kill someone is E and Q. You don't max Q first obviously since you get nothing, but a damage increase. Maxing E first however gives you it's extra range, and cd. E only cost 40 mana and that never increases. W cost much more mana and does less potential damage to champ and E since E deal it's damage twice. Really mind boggling people went into her rework without considering actual stats and how her abilities would affect the way she's played.

Get CDR so you can spam cage so you dont die.
Get yellow support item if against ranged support, blue if not
After lane phase, make sure to "steal" as much cs as possible, preferably while near your tower. Last hit with Q if you have time, else just clear the wave with W if an ally comes to take it.
If you have exhaust, you can 1v1 the enemy adc at level 6. Exhaust before your combo.

You have basically 2 options. Go full ap and become another carry, or go full meme and get ZZrot, Banner, and other meme items.

Is rushing duskblade really worth the extra 80 true damage every ~3 seconds? Keep in mind thats only when you have ult up. At that stage, you might as well go IE for more reliable damage without ult.

Both options are bad, you generally want attack speed on vayne early. Maybe next patch you can go botrk > duskblade.

Basically the idea was that Caliga was a Shuriman far in the future compared to the current age of Runeterra (maybe several hundred years ahead), and was the inventor of a cutting-edge time-travel device, similar to Ekko. However, his device was later on stolen and, for reasons that I haven't bothered thinking of, history was changed so far in the past that Xerath ended up meeting with Azir, and thus the fall of Shurima happened; the only reason he's still around is because at the moment he finalized the design for the device (and thus the point where the timeline retroactively changed), he had the prototype in his possession, which allowed him to survive his timeline being erased.
I never said it was a good or thought-out idea.

AD reds, armor yellows, flat MR blues (scaling is better if the lane doesn't have an AP support but if they have an AP support you want that early game MR to establish lane dominance) and armor quints (AD quints works too if you're confident)

This is my masteries. There's some debate to be had here like recovery over unyealding, or swiftness over legendary guardian but I feel like these masteries make Sion feel almost unkillable during laning.

Have you considered hybrid penetration marks? Most of Sion's damage barring his Q (which even then is super-telegraphed) comes from his W and E which deal magic damage.
I've been thinking of running magic penetration marks on him now, given that armor-pen was nerfed into lethality.

Take stormraiders surge, dont spam your abilities, build a black cleaver as soon as you can. Tier two boots can make a lot of his tougher matchups a bit easier. He doesnt really need any damage items besides a cleaver so learn how to choose your tank items to best counter the other team. Deadmans Plate and Randuins are good for your armor item more than a Sunfire Cape. Buy a spirit visage and learn to land your Qs in team fights and you will do good. A lot of people will just stop trying to fight you in lane after you win some trades if they are playing passively try to just deny them cs. Darius can be hard to roam/gank other lanes with because he's kind of a slow piece of shit until you get him like DMP, tier 2 boots, and a BC.
