Is it bad that I want a full-time cel-shading mod even for the CaCs, or maybe something that makes the game look like Ultimate Tenkaichi but without the lime Super Saiyan hair?

I just really hate how it doesn't even bother adhering to any sort of DBZ style. DBZ had two tones/shades of color usually and kept it basic, except for high-budget shots that added either shine or a third shade to things. Xenoverse just has not only four shades of a color per clothing item or skin or hair and so forth, but it's all this weird shiny style that melds together. Even in shots meant to call straight to the series it makes everything loo uncanny alongside the unrefined expressions.

I had an old shot of a cel-shaded Cell from XV1 that looked great besides the mangled mess that is everyone's hands.

I don't mind that, the CGI cutscenes do it in a really refined style that just makes the actual ingame graphics look like shit in comparison. If the game actually looked like the CGI then I wouldn't complain so much about the art style.
But then people actually have proper facial expressions, emotions, and high-quality models that don't look like they were lifted from a PS3 game in the CGI, too.

Well, my Saiyan Aticho is from a seperate timeline, where he watched Planet Vegeta explode at Frieza's hands from a nearby planet. He later attacked Frieza, and nearly died. He survived, came back with a Zenkai boost, and his anger over the loss of all saiyans combined with Frieza's taunting caused him to turn super saiyan. He was still weaker than final form frieza, but managed to kill him in second form, before he could power up

Now he goes around yelling at young saiyans in conton city to breed and repopulate. He's still fairly weak

Pumki and Kabba are both low class Saiyans who grew up together as rivals/best buddies. Pumki enjoys a challenging battle and the thrill of going on missions, while Kabba prefers to end things quick and make sure everything goes according to plan.

Kinnizu is a Saiyan imported from before Planet Vegeta was blown up by Freeza HAD AN UNFORTUNATE METEOR ACCIDENT. He was recruited by Time Patrol out of a need for better fighters after XV1 CaC proved how Saiyans got shit done.

Dimwitted but with a chin made of granite, he originally had normal Saiyan hair and eyes but learned about Goku's FPSS phase at the Academy. The next day he dyed his hair blonde and started wearing contacts. Once he went Super for real, he enjoyed the heightened aggression so much that he forgot how to turn it off, so it's now his base state.

Tallulah is a buufu from the planet majin buus belly. When she was born, she quickly realized that if she wanted to truly taste all the food the world had to offer she needed to leave home.

So she went on an amazing journey. Young and naive, she met with a frog prince and instantly fell in love. Before the night was over, she ate him and his entire royal family. She went on without thinking much of it at the time, but as she got older she realized that she would never have a meal as delicious as the royal frog.

Mortified by this revelation, she steals a time machine to go back in time. Nothing will get in the way of her desire to taste the flesh of the royal frog once again.

Because of this act, the time patrol came after her. However they were powerless in the face of her insatiable appetite. Unable to quell her hunger fueled frenzy they made her an offer. She can have all the food she wants from all the time periods she wants so long as she helps out with the time patrol every now and then.

It was an acceptable offer. Now she travels among time, eating all sorts of wonderous and exotic foods.

Loli saiyan waifu was part of a small space bound group that, after the destruction of the saiyan homeworld, landed on a planet and tried to blend in for as long as possible before attempting to subjugate it's inhabitants. The attempt failed and the surviving saiyans were scattered. Adolescent saiyan waifu then became a street thug and a bruiser for one of the local gangs. Fast forward a few years and saiyan waifu leaves her delinquent past behind her and joins the peace keeping force. not long into her career as a space cop she has a run in with a criminal element lead by a saiyan from the very same group she was a part of. After building a case for months, it falls apart when a key witness is murdered and although no hard evidence can prove it, it's pretty much a given that the saiyan crime boss ordered the hit. Unwilling to accept the other saiyan will walk free and with her saiyan blood burning hotter than ever, saiyan waifu single handedly storms the bad dude hang out and kills the other saiyan. She drags the body to the peace keeper hq and turns herself in for his murder. Shortly after she gets poof'd into the time patrol because although she took the law into her own hands, they're willing to take a gamble on someone willing to fight against impossible odds for what they believe is a just cause.

Pretty long winded but it's what I came up with while doing some deep thinking on the shitter.

In her early youthful days, Majora was a fair to middling class Saiyan warrior who always tried to bite off more than she could chew.
then one day she struck out against a race of aliens on a distant planet without permission, a planet declared temporarily off limits due to the indigenous species having absurdly superior battle technology. Needless to say, she got messed up pretty badly. By some miracle, she survived.
Unable to fend off her opponents, she was captured and indentured as some sort of savage pet. A curiosity to be poked at by "superior beings".
Though because she was far more clever than she was given credit for, after a few years with the help of a few dissidents who were displeased with the callous study of a sentient, if not lower being, she eventually managed to escape the planet and find neutral territory.

Knowing that the Frieza Force had essentially written her off as dead, she seized the chance she was given and chose not to return to them and instead chose to forge out her own destiny away from planet conquering.
For a time she wandered about, eking out a living as a bodyguard, a mercenary, and in desperate times, a pirate. Until one day she encountered a travelling Namekian wearing odd clothes meddling in an affair she was hired to handle. The two of them fought, thinking he was but a simple Namekian she expected to win easily, but she was utterly defeated by the strange man.
Realizing there was perhaps a spark of potential in her, instead of killing her, he offered her a job. It was then explained to her the nature of time travel, the gods, and the time patrol.
(XV2 happens at this point)
After story mode is done, utilizing the availability of the dragon balls she wishes for eternal youth so she can fight for as long as she wishes at the peak of her physique.
And also maybe one day she'll ask Whis if he was serious about recruiting her to be a God of Destruction.

The first character I made in XV2 was an entirely different race to my XV1 hero.
Then because I wasn't having fun I made a 2nd character of the same race as my XV1 hero and that's my main character even though it's in the second slot.
Her being in the 2nd slot kinda annoys me to the point of almost wanting to re-make her in the 1st slot and playing through the entire game again so my main is in slot 1.
