When I first did it, it was on my magblade, cp230 or something

Got to 3rd arena and was like "fuck this, I'm out". Came back a month later with 300cp, tried again, got past arena 7. Then I accidentally abandoned the quest. A week later I gave it another go, got to last arena. 4 hours later still couldn't do it. Another month passed, came back with 400cp, gear out like a pimp with all gold gear, ready for this shit. Finished it an hour later.

Next time I did it, finished the entire thing within an hour and a half or so. Didn't even spend all 15 lives.

The more you do it the better you'll get, it's PvE after all. Just memorising all the tactics and having decent build is all there is to it. Now I can do it without any deaths and in 40min.

It's fairly safe to assume that it won't happen for at least 4 to 6 months, and that's probably a pretty optimistic prediction. They were very common. I know several people who have stocked around 30 of each. I have about half that of each myself. Don't expect to make millions just yet, anon :^)

Hey friends, I'm a relatively new player who has avoided dungeons and pvp. Ive just been lvling my stam sorc by doing the main stories and doing delves/skyshards with my boy. I'M cp 281 and am trying to get into pve but don't really know how to go about getting geared up. All I have is 40k to my name, full spriggan's and seventh legion's divines, and 2 agility weapons for dual wield. AM I supposed to enchant my armor with health glyphs since I spent all my attribute pt's in stam? What are some sets that are cheap or from easy dungeons that would help me out as a dpser? I hate being the shitter in a group so I want to be at least somewhat prepared when I start doing vet pledges. Thanks fellas.

I think it sounds as if you're ready for veteran dungeons, the path ahead is just to make you better.

Your glyphs should be in stamina even if all your attribute points are in stamina.

Spriggan is one of the best dps sets in the game so I wouldn't change that. I would personally run Fungal Grotto 1 on veteran just to get the monster helmet and keep doing pledges until you get the shoulder piece, then work on replacing the seventh legion with 3 agility jewelry("healthy" agility rings and amulets are pretty cheap and should be found in all major cities) and 2 sharpened leki blades since the leki's pair bonus gives you extra weapon damage.

Have gear in purple and weapons in gold. There's no reason to upgrade your gear to legendary unless you're autistic.

My suggestion would be to simply forget about levels and play the game, explore, do the quests you want, go where you want, just enjoy the game.
If your goal is to get to max level as soon as possible, then I'll have to disappoint you and tell you that after you hit 50 you need to get to CP 160 to be able to even get useful gear, so you still have a long way ahead of you.

It's honestly surprising to me that it seems like no one has ported assets from ESO to Skyrim. I mean, it's probably not easy since they use entirely different engines and whatnot but even attempting to replicate some of the art designs seems like it'd be worthwhile - there's a lot of cool looking shit in his and after DB dropped with all those Morrowind-ish assets, ESO could have provided a lot more for Morrowind-themed mods.

The only mod I've seen even close is one that drops a bunch of ruined dolmens around Skyrim.

Naming builds, especially in a game like this where skills kinda rattle about loosely, is a good way to enable people to easily reference them ("I'm running X's Y build", etc.) and often gives a quick idea of what the build's intention is. in a fair 1v1, this build won't win many duels against skilled players. especially if your opponent is wearing heavy armor and some combination of proc sets, like basically 80% of cyro players are. it's very much unsuited for 1vX. but if ganking is the playstyle you want, then it's an alright build, and will get the job done against anyone who isn't running current meta, in most cases, if you're any good. but it is still inferior to viper/widowmaker/veli gank builds.

also, it's from patch 2.3.8. so it's very much outdated.

I'm fine if it's more PvE based. I just currently have a terrible "build" I made on my own, so everything should be an improvement. Also I do not intend to focus on PvP as I like to do Dungeons, Trials and Cyrodiil PvP as well just so I have a bit of everything when I play.

The thing about builds in ESO is that there isn't one ultimate build. No one build that's actually good in both PvP and PvE. You can't make a PvP build and than take it to PvE without changing anything, and expect it to perform well. Works same the other way around. You gotta pick your focus, or have two builds that are easy enough to switch between. Or have two seperate characters, one for PvE and one for PvP that's what I do

As for that particular build, it's designed specifically for vMA. It is not a PvP build. You will get fucking destroyed trying to run that build in PvP. But, even though it's made for vMA, it's a very self-sufficient build, meaning that if I were to play a stamblade in PvE, this is the build I would take to pug with. It will clear most vet content just fine. Again, you won't be reaching your full dps potential, since it's made for vMA, but at least you won't be completely reliant on shitty pug tanks and healers.

not gonna give CP, because I don't know how many you got. but you want points in the following:

hardy, elemental defender - 50/50 split
magician, arcanist - like 70/30 split or something
elfborn - 27 points will be fine
a bit in spell errosion and thaumaturge
elemental expert needs to be maxed

it'll do just fine for pretty much all vet dungeons

you can swap out inner light for some other abilities, like shield, if you feel like you'll need it, but it's a pretty big dps boost, so I would recommend keeping them

You should have sucked up to some high lvls during the Halloween event. I got 3 characters from 10-50 by making my buddy grind me and hooking in a popular delve I'm Cyrodiil. Each character took no more than 4.5 hours with psijics.

You can do dungeons at whatever level you want, and you probably should be doing some for the daily exp bonus. It usually gives enough for a level up. I recommend doing one of the babby dungeons (Fungal Grotto, Banished Cells or Spindleclutch) with guildies or other noobs first. Don't bother with veteran level dungeons before cp160, you will most likely be ill-equipped to handle them and your group will resent your presence. PvP is at your own peril, but there are a couple alliance war skills you may want for PvE like vigor and caltrops.

Depends on what you need, most people have a few guilds that serve different functions, but you should probably join the /tesog/ guild.

It's seriously demotivating me ftom playing. I need the caltrops but I don't give a fuck about and can't be bothered to pvp at this point in my vidya career, so I just don't log on to do it. Level 50, 30 or 40 cheese pizza, was looking forward to "max level" shit, and I might quit entirely because of this. Maybe I'm just bored of my character (stam nb) but I can't find a reason to care beyond shitposting the general while at work.

As a new player, I look for builds and guides as guidelines that help me understand what's important and what I should be focusing on when making a specific build.
I never blindly follow builds/guides, but always try to understand why it is like it is.
It's also nice to know if you're doing something right or wrong, or if there's some hidden mechanic you're missing.

level scaling is a bit weird. if you keep equipping level-appropriate gear you get from quests, you'll do fine but probably look mish-mash.

not sure how suboptimal it is, but I just craft a full set of equipment at the border of material change (lvl 14, 24 etc) with a different racial style to see how they look.

If you've got a pile of gold and can find a damaged (or recently upgraded) keep a good way of leveling your PvP bullshit is carrying a metric fuckton of repair kits around and basically spending a couple hours RPing a construction worker repairing all the walls.

I think I got most of my PVP progress that way, in between quick jumps of XP whenever my faction was able to get it's shit together and actually steamroll instead of being dumb and losing everything.
