Just found out a little trick if you have the "wear your lucky item" initiative.

Anyone got a complete list of the amiibos that work for the update?
I have yet to buy any amiibos and this seems like a good enough reason to get them. The pastebin in OP's post only has vague information.

I think it's a pretty good map. I'd go for it.
The recycler is near the docks, good for beatle hunting. The town hall is near the town center, which just feels nice. Plenty of open space to build PWP's.. Villagers already mostly centered in the bottom of the map... Won't last long, but that feels nice.
With enough time, you could probably get them all on the bottom.
and the new RV site is right next to the Recycler..
The only downside to that, is the MEOW coupons are across the river.

If you're planning on placing paths, the big thing to watch out for is ponds blocking what would be the natural path to one part of the town, or access to one of the buildings. Something else to look out for is a river that starts/ends really high or really low on the map, because that leaves you with limited space between the river and the edge of the map where you can't really do much in terms of decorating or whatever.

Upgrading my house was my priority. More storage space if anything (but now we have an actual storage space whoop). Just talk to villagers who you happen to like every day and I say focus on your house. Make the source nice and then spread from there.

BUT

If you want to time travel for your favorite villagers, now would be the time to do it while it isn't as complicated. It takes a bit more care if you already have villagers you like in your village.

I say do PWP's after you have about 6-7 of your favorite villagers. Use the other slots for getting PWP's and after you unlock them all, get the others. This is so you have fun while also grinding, since you aren't always surrounded by shit characters.

Have you never played HHD? Everything sold at Harvey's shop (and a large amount of things in RVs) are from HHD. I'm almost certain they transferred every HHD item over; if not, at least a vast majority of them.
