Squishy frames usually have great control over the battlefield, keep your distance and use your movement controls like crouch and sliding, focus heavies first and if you need to move fast be sure to use their built in cc, banshees silence +sonic push for heavies, Nyx's chaos or mind control to draw enemy fire, volts speed and shield. Basically just play the game instead of speed running with no consequences, personally I love playing banshee despite the fact she's definitely not meta. Quick Thinking + Flow/Primed Flow is usually the best solution.

However, when I don't want to waste mod slots with Quick thinking I just go with Vitality + Orthos Prime (which is equipped with Life Strike mod for heals).

In my opinion you should always have a melee weapon with Life Strike anyways, it's useful in almost any situation.

I'm not a big fan of having high shield and low health (because of toxin damage), so Vitality is my go to on squish frames.

But again, Quick Thinking + big energy pool is the optimal choice.

Also, in case you don't have, you should get a sentinel with Guardian mod ASAP.

It's implied by some of the Second Dream dialogue choices that the Tenno knew what the Orokin did to Marghulis even while they were serving as guardians. One of the choices specifically mentions this and that some, if not all, of the Tenno never forgave the Orokin for it.

How Lotus decided to become a surrogate mother is anybody's guess. For all we know her original purpose was the turn the Tenno against the Orokin, which would explain why her voice sounds like Marghulis'.

I assume that when Lotus finally figured out the history of the Tenno she decided that humanity shouldn't be exterminated, just the Orokin caste. Then set herself up as the surrogate mother of the Tenno and let the non-Orokin castes live.

So really it's not just the Tenno that still exist due to her Wannabe Mom Syndrome, but humanity in its entirety.
