You unlock cards then build Blitz decks. During game you use your cards to get units and moves I assume which you then use in rts combat.

Why is /hg/ dead on weekands?

Played the original trilogy and decided to write down time/kills. Note I played each the same style. So no "lol exploring and adding minutes" or skipping fights. Not a speedrun.

During Reach's lifetime I spent enough time both separated from and engaged with forums of debate like here and Waypoint to realize there's a certain ignorance toward either sphere.

Here, where we spend all our time dedicated to debating and analyzing everything about the games, it seems obvious what's good and bad and what should be done to better the games. Elsewhere, such analysis doesn't exist. I had friends who advocated ADS in Halo before 343 even existed, and who thought stuff like Armor Abilities were one of the best things that could ever happen to Halo; the same people, in fact, who obsessed over Halo 2-3.

So basically, the changes *were* positively received, by the average person who doesn't care enough to think much about the intricacies of what's good or bad for a game, which is, in final review, a far more numerous, profitable, and easily pleased audience than we here.

343 also got rid of loadouts, AAs and made Halo5 MP more classic while new.

Also made DLC free. Made forge one of the best versions its been.

Made the MCC even while MS rushed them and literally could have just done Halo2 anniversary. (Also MCC had other companies work on it and its been proven its timeline was not long enough)

Gave the halo2 BR, CE pistol. Adding things to forge overtime for better maps. And other shit for free

DLC being free has NOTHING to do with 343, that is simply down to Microsoft and its a scheme being taken on by a lot of studios and publishers. Bungie wanted their DLC to be free but it was down to Microsoft ultimately, they did however manage to get Heroic and Cold Storage out for free.
