How do I progress at this fucking game. I put so much effort into researching and practicing trying to get better and then I just get matched with fucking retards who don't give a fuck. They feed and just afk after flaming everyone. This is like 10 games in a row where I win lane like 3-0 and I look to other lanes and they are 0-7 0-9 how are you supposed to improve in a team game when the rest of the team are fucking brain dead monkeys who just run flaround looking for kills. My micro and laning phase is good but I can't get better at macro when the teams just run at each other nonstop and have zero map awareness.

I'm seriously thinking of just swapping to Dota2 or something cause everyone in my Elo is beyond help

Viktor's a lot like syndra in that he has great burst, waveclear, and harass.
Unlike Syndra however Viktor has no real hard CC (just try to land that fucking field on a target who's paying attention or has a dash) which is a death sentence for an extended immobile mage, and all his damage is technically avoidable except for his Q.
Now what Viktor does have over Syndra is powerful zoning and a shield, take that in mind.

Viktor's really weak before he completes his hex core, so I'd say abuse early levels to bully him out of lane if you can.

Honestly the best counter to viktor is probably Kassadin, since on top of basically being anti magic dps and typically builds RoA (which means he's gonna have a real fucking hard time bursting you down at any point in the game) and his ult basically makes Viktor's W worthless.
