It's not that it's bad for modding, it's a great platform. It's just SSE needs time for mods to be ported over and for an SKSE equivalent to be made. Many good mods require SKSE and that isn't compatible with SSE, yet.

In time it'll be updated and will definitely be a better system for modding than Oldrim.

Oh god, my dick can only be erect! All of Ordinator's Alchemy perks seem pretty great.

On that note, i think speccing my character into Archery, Destruction, and Alchemy may have been a mistake after all. The fire magic was useful at the start but i didnt know dawnguard introduced elemental bolts eventually, so that coupled with Alchemy has effectively rendered the magic redundant.

The fire rune spell is still pretty useful for me though so i dont know. Maybe i can still find a use for destruction magic.

I've managed to get modding more or less right and keep it stable at 250, but I seem to have two very annoying, engine related bugs:

The first one is that NPCs drop words when talking "passively", like the audio cuts halfway through for a split second. Voices are also really low most of the time--you can barely hear the cries of battle when the slightiest breeze blows. I've read I might be able to fix the first issue with some meme Razer drivers, so far fiddling with playback settings has proven useless.

The other issue is much more annoying and perhaps harder to solve: NPCs sometimes decide to talk with their faces frozen, again when talkin passively. Sometimes their faces will contort and freeze in strange positions. This happens more often in spawn-heavy areas, like Whiterun.

Are there known fixes for either of the two that I'm missing? Google only got me so far.

Does anyone know any possible way of making corpses permanent?
There are dead bodies in the game that never disappear, many of them are a decoration of dungeons, keeps and other places. I also know that the first 2 grey fairies (cultists) that come after you and have a note on them (kick starting Dragonborn) are permanent once killed.
But is there any way of making others permanent?

I wish i could collect dead Thalmor as well, or behead one of the girl thanes and mourn over what i did by putting them on a bed and placing flowers and healing potions all over, trying to wake them up by playing the lute...
I felt really sad when i killed and nibbled on Eola for bumping my staffs and making them fall out of the basket, she was my stuart. I mourned but she vanished.

I just reach level 105 and every single fight is just me clicking my mouse until my enemies are dead. And when there's a dozen, it's more of a chore than an actual fight. Level 1-10 fights can be fun, especially with the right mods and gimping health intentionally. But past that it just becomes a bore. I just run past 90% of shit and let my dozen followers clean up the scrubs.

My only issue with Sneak is that I usually get spotted every now and then. I have not specced into any melee skills, i used destruction spells for when I get caught. It would be problematic to have to set bear traps and tripwires in the middle of combat and, unlike my crossbow, i dont have to reload after every shot. I usually just use sneak to get the jump on the enemy.

I do have Apocalypse as well, which has some spells that are good for crowd control, and I've spotted an Ordinator perk that causes a target a to burn to ashes, wich will be useful against necromancer. I could also stack the lowered enemy fire resistance perks with damage bonus ones and Weakness to Fire Poisons to dish out the damage.

I do like flinging spells too. With this playstyle, i can treat the game like an FPS. Ill likely stick with i what i have now. I can always find a respec mod, or finish Dragonborn, if it truly isnt working out.

Get mods to alter perks and add spells. There's a lot for Old Skyrim and for Special edition there's Apocalypse + Ordinator. I think Ordinator lets you build a bunch of skeleton thralls and apocalypse has spells to temporarily buff your summons/skeletons etc.

I'm more wondering why there haven't been any, well there's been 2, random dragon attacks so far.

I know about the static spawn ones sitting on word walls and such. I'll probably have to hunt some of them down, shouldn't have had to though. I did progress the main story far enough that they should be just randomly spawning every now and then.

Normally you don't cause if they stayed they would clutter up the game and create lag or item count or whatever. So they vanish and are taken out of the game. If you can somehow change them to a static item in the console, then they might stay.
