1 is what it is, gorgeous graphics spent on scout rush:the game, 2 is anime military high school and is very love it or hate it depending on how well you can tolerate stupid cliches, asset reuse, smaller maps and how absurdly grindy the class system is, 3 is probably my favorite game in the series, it's a better game than 1, graphics are much worse due to being on the PSP but it still looks aight,it inherited a good chunk of stuff from 2, balance is all kinds of fucked after a point but even with Imca's AoE or valk mode access for every valkyrie it doesn't come close to the scout rush bullshit in the first game. Yes, but you have a draft of like 30 packs from the start of the game and you get ~6 solid cards from the campaign to slot into it. Copy your default deck and just put in drafted upgrades to their counterparts. Like a 4pp 4/4 to a 4pp 4/4 with an ability. Shit like that. By the time you get through the campaign, play your dailies, and read the articles on the website you'll be able to assemble your own shit. Later on read common deck lists in the meta and the analysis on how they work, how they're strong and what counters.

It's not hard to build a cheap deck in those lines.
Aggrobat, bannersword, elanahaven, and even DShift aren't very expensive and all work well.

Shadow without Cerb is impossible, especially now when Shadow is weak. Cerb is the only thing making any of the decks playable, from aggro to control.

Just play the default decks in ranked. It's not sandbagging, and if you win you know you were truly the better player.

If you just want to try, Burial grounds, otherwise, most of the optimal decks gets shadows just fine by playing. Picking the right card to necro. Otherwise, Midnight Haunt I think is the name of the gold that give temp shadows. Mostly used to get Tyrant out with those high stats after the necro is kicking in.

I'm not playing aggro but I wouldn't call it an easy ride anon. The fucking grind is nuts at AA2 so far and seeing Forest as Control Sword makes me die a little inside every time. At this point I'm convinced that it's a worse matchup than dshift, at least I still win against them sometimes.
