Not really. 5's is even happier since it comes after a game of life punching Protag in the dick frequently vs Yu having no real stresses. Also instead of leaving alone on a train Phantom goes off with all his living buddies on a road trip. Yeah Goro died but nobody really cared for him anyway.

And 1's is the happiest of all because Piercy doesn't even have to leave all his friends because he's lived there from the start.

Honestly rebuilding is going to be a moot point. Let's take it into perspective.

Sumaru City is the only thing that exists. It's based on IRL Yokohama and most likely has its same 2 million population. So there are 2 million people still alive on the Other Side.

Not only do they have to restructure the area so there is farmland for growing and livestock to feed 2 million people, but there has to be population control. These people will still breed in a space that absolutely cannot be expanded. There is no ocean to escape to escape vast nothingness that will probably kill you.

The humans will build tall spires in order to get creative with space, but the materials will be recycled slipshod stuff because I don't think they have much natural resources, and it would eventually deplete themselves.

There will be no such things as office jobs or internet or anything of that sort. It's going to be an old school argricultural society in a ridiculously tiny dystopian world. Humans will resort to cannibalism in the long run.

i don't know if this is old news around here, but according to japanese folks who got the guidebook, Sae's coop ability is listed as just arcana burst for judgment + unlocking satan.

why they had to list that as ???? in the game, i have no fucking idea. the guide also says that her co-op is meant to skip ranks. only weird thing seems to be that the complete item list doesn't have her coop item in it and it has no explanation (I've read some ppl say it's actually listed as "???" in the book itself, but idk if that's bs or not).

the book also says there's only 2 endings, March one + everything else is considered a "bad ending".

Everything is fishy about it. In a game where plot details are pretty well sustained (except for that retarded part where goro shows up to arrest you after he died), he's suspiciously excluded from almost all discussions. The PT mention him once or twice without even stopping to think for a second, and sae points out that he's missing when you meet her after yaldy (when she tells you you need to turn yourself in)

Because I did, and I have absolutely no doubt that there isn't/never was a "truer" ending. The way the one in the game plays out feels absolutely final. The only evidence of a Chapter 3 was a title card. All we really know was cut was an additional mission 51 that had a boss fight. Yeah. I think the Yaldy fight was supposed to come later, and they decided to just stick it in December 24 anyway and just get the dungeoning part of the game over with. Plus from what Hashino said they thought the game was running too long already, which is why they cut Hifumi from having a part in the main story (which honestly could explain the whole problem) between that and them seeming to have to keep maxing all coops to be somewhat challenging (which is probably why there all those skipped days where Morgana wouldn't let you do anything) and we have the wonky pacing of the end of the game.

That being said Devil Survivor 1 and 2 wrapped up nicely and still had the story extended in the rereleases. So that doesn't mean a Persona 5 Crimson or whatever can't happen.
