I was looking over mods on tesgeneral, specifically combat-related stuff. Is Duel actually any good? It apparently makes combat brutal, but does it do so in a good way, or do enemies just become damage sponges? I also heard that DUEL can cause save bloat, but I'm not sure if that's just me remembering mentionings of it many threads ago.

Speaking of combat mods, I know a lot of people would shit on SkyRe, but I don't really remember why. Are the problems that people had with it still prevalent?

My point was that a shield should be, you know, a shield against shit like icy-hot wind, poison/acid spit, fucking physical arrows.

I mean for fucks sake I can block an astral battleaxe with it and come out bruised (though why repeatedly bashing someone in the shield kills them I'll never understand) why can't I block fire/ice/arrows from the get-go?

I can understand shit like lightning getting through a metal shield, or the metal in the shield. And maybe if the shield got hot/cold enough to hurt me after a while, but I doubt that's the fucking case since those temperature extremes should cripple your fucking arm and destroy/warp your shield. Plus I can just stand there and take the exact same amount of damage to the face and not die.

Got one fr you guys if your able to help. My character is fine no problems, stand alone followers are fine. But all NPC women have this discolored texture in game as well as on my newly downloaded bodyslide.

I was using bodyslide to try to change something when I saw ALL body choices looked this way as they do now in game.

I am using "Fair Skin Complexion", UNPetite" and "Seamless bodies UNP". I can't find what is causing this or why all my enemies, townsfolk and other women have this blurred, no detailed, scared and burned body. Any Ideas? Will post three pics.

It had issues with skyforge weapons, but I didn't try fixing it myself. The other weapon armor and creature textures work fine, as does caves and mines.

I wouldn't use the exterior textures though because they probably suffer from the specularity problems.
