Looking better, but starlight road isn't really a good card in 2016. You'll use it to screw with the occasional twin twister but most of your traps are chainable anyway.

I'm not a fan of reckless greed since you'll be doing most of your non-removal trap activating in your opponent's first end phase after your turn. A single reckless greed during the EP is functionally the same as a legacy of yata garasu since you'd get a DP draw immediately afterwards, only you'd lose an extra draw phase. So to get any real benefit out of it you'd need two, along with two burgers to chain to both of your copies. Since you preferably want to go first (otherwise you might have already effectively lost) that means you'd need to draw a combination of three cards that might let you usefully dump two burgers into the grave. Doing so with pikaia would essentially leave you with one potentially disruptive card and essentially leave you defenseless, and doing so with marrella means you -1'd anyway.

So most of the time yata is more efficient card advantage-wise because you'll draw 3 reckless once in a blue moon. And 2 isn't terribly common either.

Consistency is the same reason I'd recommend cutting the wabokus for PoDs (your choice of which pot exactly), they only really help when you're in a losing but not losing too hard. You could also go the opposite route and add some barrier statues in there, toad+backrow is an uncomfortable field to get over but toad+statue+backrow is an impossible one without gameciel.

You should also consider a 1-of Leanchoilia, it works wonders against ABCs and has some cute combos with ronin. And since you'll probably be wanting to side in cherries and aren't hurting for extra deck space I'd advise trimming the ED down and stuffing in an ABC, BESD, Omega, Dante, Norden etc

So my friend wanted me to get him into playing yugioh semi-casually and told me he was willing to spend around 70 bucks to build a deck.

Honest to god you can probably build Kozmos for around that price if you want to skip the Kozmojos and have a half built extra deck. Kozmos don't even use it a whole lot I'm pretty sure.
Most late Zexal period decks have gotten fairly cheap and you can get a lot of the older "staple" rank 4 cards aren't too pricey anymore. 101 is like 2 bucks, though Castel is 4.
Kaijus are also an option. They aren't too great, but I'm one hell of a sucker for giant monster fights.

I do have Castel, 101, Abyss, and Cowboy as far as rank 4s go, so that shaves a bit off the price of any deck that uses rank 4s.

Here's a pure Kaiju deck I threw together on the spot. It's pretty simple and only gets expensive when you try to get all the Galaxy-Eyes Dragons. Really 1 rank 8 Galaxy-Eyes and a Full Armor Photon will do you fine. Staple R8's are FAP, 1 R8 Galaxy-Eyes(Cipher is the weakest in this deck), Number 38, and Felgrand.
Late Zexal-era decks are things like Geargia, Evilswarm, Firefist, Fire Kings, ect. They can be boring to play though imo

Thanks, and funnily enough I pulled a Full Armour in the a mega tin I got the other day. Which are the extra deck cards after number 62, and the second last one looks like Lancelot but I'm not sure. Also I don't recognize the traps other than skill drain, solemn, and the kaiju one.

one of the exceptions was when Rulers hit TCG I was unable to get my Dracossacks so I instead of them I played a R4NK with Blackwing Engine (that worked impresively good and took me to the second day) in said NATS.

make an older deck able to be competitive in the current meta by either giving a errata to ONE of their cards or "importing" a card from another archetype to the one fixing.

How to do:

First thing you should do is disconnect all internet connection, start percy, and wait 5-10 minutes max.
If it still stuck in old banlist, then your percy is outdated.
If it's "updated" to proper banlist, that means either your internet is slow, there's something blocking pro connection to percy "server", or percy "server" is slow at the moment.
The last thing rarely happens, but it does happens sometimes.

They're one of the stronger petdecks out there. Hysteric Sign and their field spell are both really good and they can shit out both R4 (ft. Lightning Chidori) and R7. They can utilize some sick memes like Ties of the Brethren if you're into that, too.
