As long as his head and tail are hypered, he's slow as shit. But if he changes one of the spots to his back, suddenly he will do sanic speed rolls x 10 and his chinslam attack are faster. I can process it, but it trips me up so much that he can attack at different speeds in the same hunt.

SnS needs more raw than DB, and in Gen you can get away with pure raw thanks to good arts and oils, so early in the game you'll want a good balance of green sharpness and decent raw. Of note Hidden Edge from Nargacuga is pretty alright throughout the game.

If you're bored of the AuL mix set, if desired something like Ceanataur armor is an okay fit for Razor Sharp and Expert.

Having all the numbers condensed to true raw/element/status kinda makes them look shitty but they're still as good mechanically. What's not good is how shitty some of the options are. Without G rank you don't have a strong option with the highest tier of sharpness for most weapon types like before so it makes going straight raw or raw/blast more attractive.

I rarely see bad LBG/HBG users. I guess it's because of how high maintenance the the gunner weapons are with keeping ammo stocked and using different guns depending on the monster to not be shit. The lazier people tend to stay away from them because of upkeep.
