I'm having trouble with the twins I'm using full hallowed and a cutlass in an arena. aside from the obvious get good is there a way to make him easier using melee?

Downgrade to Titanium armor if you have it.
Upgrade to Fresh Bananas if you insist on being melee range melee.
Get a melee weapon that spits projectiles if not.
Make sure you're focusing on one of the eyes at a time. I prefer doing the laser one first since the fireballs are easier to dodge.
I could probably get more specific if I had a better idea of what you were using and where you were fighting.
