She's cute and all but a spellcaster in a musou is a weird concept because the best characters in these games hit moderately to very hard and cover a lot of ground while attacking. Schierke hits hard and has colossal aoe attack but remains mostly static while doing so. Serpico, Guts, and Griffith are definitely the best characters in this game

To be honest, almost any vita drpg is good in its own right. Demon gaze is a good place to start because it has fairly easy mechanics and is friendly to newcomers of the genre with a decent difficulty (still not easy though), interesting characters and pretty intricate dungeons.

But yeah, are you after a 1500 word essay on the way Demon Gaze handles morality in its use of demon capturing, fan service and dragon princesses? You haven't mentioned how familiar you are with the genre, what games you like, etc, so we can't really give you much more than a subject "this is a good game, I like this game". You get what you give, be more specific in what you want next time.

I have had a go at most, if not all DRPGs on the 3DS, with my favorite being EOV. My main complaint about that series would be that you're basically stuck with a single party throughout the entire game, unless you're willing to put in some very tedious busywork.

I have a hard time figuring out how the Verity Level 4 formula works.

When I equip Verity 4 on a Chain&Sickle with 0 precision, it receives +20 Precision.
But when I equip it on Chain&Sickle with 7 Precision, it receives only +6 precision from Verity 4.

I was hoping to be able to interpolate this into a linear formula, but it looks like something that's far more complex that that.
