Okay so after thinking it over and talking with some people, the deadline for the tournament will be changed from Friday the 4th to tomorrow, the 3rd at 6pm Eastern.
We got plenty of people and I think the five days is enough time for people to register, and we can begin setting up matches and stuff to take place over the weekend.

Also I'm going to look into streaming it since a couple of people asked about it too.

Purgatory Forestcraft is a fun defensive/cycling deck but it costs like 40k vials to craft

Both Forest decks are hard to learn. They're not as hard to play as control blood pre-DE, but they're definitely not beginner friendly. You'll literally have a higher win rate with budget banner sword.

Because Forest is the most pushed class right now. Haven is close, but they only have Beastcall Aria and Garuda which are ridiculously overstatted, meanwhile Forest has like 8 different cards which are retarded and the devs know it.

Even their base themed ability to make fairies is a bit crazy when you consider all the synergy in the class. It's like they were balanced just to be 1/1s.

I actually wrote this a while ago, copypasting for relevance.

Forest is Naya, the Green is obvious but it has a heavy focus on tokens which is more White's thing. It also has combo creature elements found most often in Red, as well as a lot of reach with Roach.

Sword is Selesnya, focuses on creatures and buffs.

Rune is Izzet with it's combo and damage removal elements, very little burn though. Golems and Earth Rite are hard to compare to any element in MtG since they're a unique mechanic here, I'd say they feel Green or Blue though.

Dragon is Gruul, they have ramp, aggro and giant shit.

Shadowcraft is Black. The Shadow mechanic is hard to quantify, but I guess you can just call it "graveyard matters". They also literally have a raise dead effect.

Blood is Rakdos, strong aggro and burn options. They also have a control plan, which I guess can be compared to Big Red and the disruption elements in Black.

Havencraft is White. They have healing, wrath effects, most of their removal exiles (banish in this game) and also have a weenie aggro strategy.

Trying an aggro shadow deck and I have a question. Should I play Skeleton Fighter turn 1 or wait for the +1/+1 when I get a shadow? Obviously it's gonna depend on matchups and what else I have in my hand, but generally speaking what would you do? Having the 2/2 seems really strong so far though.
