Northern realms is IMO OP as fuck. Phillipa Eilhart + Priscilla + Reaver scout spam is fucking infuriating. Atleast you can counter the adrenaline rush decks. Phillippa is just auto-win.

Scoia'tel control is also pretty sick but luckily it requires too many legendaries right now.

I play discard skellige and beat those adrenaline rush decks all the time with dimetrium bomb and scorch. It's impossible to play against Philippa. Geralt Igni is also incredibly strong but atleast it has a requirement. Philippa has no requirement even though it affects golds and will win you a round on her own against most decks.

Priscilla is also fucking disgusting. Honestly Northern Realms decks in general make me sick.

Not a fan of adrenaline rush because you don't have a single incredibly strong card besides the skirmishers and you want those to die. But I guess it's fine just in case.

deck thinning is NOT the only strategy. There are decks that benefit from a reasonable amount of cards, especially monster (if you're not salt patrol) and Northern Kingdoms.

cards like Nekkers, Foglets, Wild Hunt Riders, Arachas etc. benefit a lot from a deck with 30-35 cards, since you want to minimize the chance of picking more than 1 of these cards.

There is no point in going above 30 with a monster deck.
Even if you pick all the muster cards, you only have Nekkers, WH Riders and Foglets or Arachas.
Since Foglets counter Arachas, you end up with 9 cards.
Two Thunderbolts, fogs and Ancient Foglets or Arachas Behemoths and Ghouls and you still don't go much higher than 15.

Northern Realms is shit for 30 cards because you only have Reinforcements and Reaver Scouts to get cards out of your deck.

I pity those that have a deck full of nekkers/ arachs. Fuck, even foglets. They all go down with a ''Lacera'' or even Manticore venom. Foglets can have a pass cause you can revive them with Fog.

Also, Rain, man. You need either at least one rain or a water hag. Otherwise, NR decks will put the trebuchets in the siege row and you immediately lose or the scoiatel will put their hawker supporter there too and buff them with special cards.

I think there are some segments where is automatic, you open the menu and the potions replenish. In any case, try walking away from the monsters and see if you can meditate then.

just realized a few flaws and weaknesses, switched out svanrige and craite raider with dim bomb and clear weather for weather decks.

Generally speaking the deck is about graveyard control. All of my buffs except sigrdrifa and skjall are base damage modifiers, which means they're unaffected by dim bomb.

Dragon is good to kill opponent cards, and in worst case scenario i flame my own and can just revive them again for bonuses next round or that round after.

berserkers turn to bears after for revival. When i play 1 pirate, the rest go to graveyard for revival, which means you want only 1 pirate on hand and play it round 1 etc.
