-Wrex is based and slaughters them all on his first try in four minutes with melee attacks and shotgunning. Doesn't even seem to lose his barriers.
-Tali kills them all on her first try, and takes ten minutes. Her drone makes it harder for the enemies to focus on her and takes out several of them with rockets, and she's fairly effective with her Eviscerator. Throws out Combat Drone constantly while occasionally complimenting with Energy Drain and Sabotage when she's low on shields or her enemies are close together.
-Garrus fucks up and dies on his first two attempts, but does much better when given a bolt action rifle (a Widow, in this case) as opposed to automatic or burst fire. I'm not sure if something was wrong with his AI. He uses Concussive Shot a lot and Overload very little. His successful attempt takes slightly over 8 minutes.
-Liara spams Singularity and then guns enemies down with her SMG, making her effective against grunts, but her low health and weapon damage and tendency to get flanked means she fails all three attempts. Especially when shielded enemies show up.

The armour for some of the classes in Titanfall remind me of the hardsuits in the first Mass Effect game, but with a sort of 'modern' take. The womens' version moreso than the mens', and the sniper versions the most(far-left and far right).
Skintight jumpsuit looking thing, but with more cloth armour, more straps, pockets and holsters, those elastic bands you see on modern plate carriers, etc.

I think it's pretty cool. It'd be nice if the light armour in Mass Effect incorporated more cloth/fiber armour. More polymer and nanoweave, and less ceramic plates (since the light armour still has some plates). Assuming they rely more on shields rather than straight up armour plating to maintain their maneuverability.
I think the design would also look better if each suit had more kinds of textures. Instead of just going with two kinds (the weave of the undersuit, and the CFRP-look of the plates), they could gone with that (what I assume is) polymer armour-looking thing the armour in Andromeda has. I like it when suits like that have several kinds of textures to break up the design a bit, without adding too much that make it feel 'overly designed' by having too many details where it's not needed.

Honestly I think ME2 and 3 are about equal. I felt like ME3 was bolstered by having somewhat better DLC than 2 (which really only had LOTSB as a must get), as Citadel, Omega (even if a bit disappointing) and Leviathan were all worth a playthrough, Overlord, Arrival and Firewalker just felt like shooting galleries. I also felt like ME3 had better squad interactions, as they moved around the ship and discussed with each other rather than simply being segregated personalities like they were in ME2.

At the same time ME2 benefited from having what seemed like a larger campaign, greater variety of hubworlds, more squad members overall, and a superior soundtrack.

I don't think it's necessarily meant to be a combat suit, it looks like it draws inspiration from astronaut suit and aesthetics too which is why I really like it. Similar to this pic which also isn't just a combat suit but takes some inspiration from a pilot's outfit for its aesthetic. I like the idea that you're supposed to be a pilot/explorer/astronaut and not just some generic military dude in a generic scifi armor suit.
