1. Miners funnel their gained resources into a bluespace vendor. They do not get money for this.
2. Mechanics, roboticists, scientists and the general public can purchase the materials for a set price. Money is given to the miners who mined those materials.
3. Every job on the station that wants materials can now get them and now have a desire for money. Money now has a legitimate purpose.
4. Miners become rich as always, but for giving their materials to other people, not for simply producing the materials. They also don't have to drag crates around the station weirdly.

I think so too, but looking at the code this seems to be an issue with the chem system as a whole.

It basically checks for reactions once per reagent contact. If we were to change this it would mean that large amounts of mixed chemicals would trigger multiple times - Potassium and Water would explode x times, any drugs creation would create increasingly large amounts of chems etc.
