I got dia back in s3 and there were a total of 4 people including me in the whole division, now there are like 50. Elo boosting and ebay fucked this game to no end.

That being said, I skipped playing in s4 and in s5 I barely played, needless to say this year when I started ranked again, I was so shit it was unbelievable.

As for improving, you need to start maining one role and working up your way towards your limit, after that you need to start playing different roles to improve your general game knowledge and eventually you will be able to get plat or diamond.

It means that it will be a resource which is WAY worse than mana, other resources already kinda fall off lategame where mana becomes abundant, and this one not only is extremely limited, but also doesn't regenerate by itself at all, and there is no way to get it back quickly. To compensate for it they'd need to make abilities of that champ extremely powerful. Which leads to god knows what, zed+ekko with amplified everything, who blows his rotation then goes back or tries to land some AAs. And onto regenerating AAs, both melee and ranged would feel very off with that playstyle, and would need to build atk speed, thus needing to build less ad/ap, thus riot needing to make their abilities ratios better, thus bronzelords will abuse it and build full damage anyway. Very hard concept with no real appeal, elements of it barely work on lee sin, and it would be against everything riot were doing for last couple of years (homogenising everything, and making every champ as easy to balance out as possible, preferably filling some predefined niche).

I tried the cleaver/deaths dance build and its not going for me. I get blown up too fast against most comps for the dance to work its magic.

It did better early and late, but the cleaver rush does way better midgame. Hard to close things out though because you're not tanky enough to survive frontlining for such a long time.

I'm literally unkillable with the other build and do better damage because I survive for so long.
Sheen steraks on the guy with like the third highest base AD is no joke either, it hurts.

I tried out Yorick with Black Cleaver instead of Trinity after talking with some anon this afternoon. Maybe it was you? xDdd
At one point when I got Black Cleaver, I was chunking Illaoi with the ghouls which actually fucking impressed me. Stormraider's on Yorick is fun as fuck as well, especially because you just get away from being ganked.
I'm really digging the build though I shouldn't judge from just a match from normals, but yeah, pretty neato.

Yeah, you actually proc it often in 1v1's and such. Especially because the ghouls can actually proc it if you're ahead and you can get the Stormraider's movement speed and get a guaranteed W even though you kinda just get a guaranteed W by hitting E. It's really good nonetheless. People kinda sleep on his 1v1 potential, especially because they don't really expect the damage alone from a Q. Sheen Q does sweet damage but the fact that you kinda just waste AS from Trinity Force sucks, especially because you're using a ton of gold for it while you can use Black Cleaver for the sweet CD, AD, HP and the armor shredding that even ghouls can do.

The only high elo yorick player is inverted composer and he tried and dropped black cleaver.
He always takes grasp, and builds at least one sheen item.

Usually goes Iceborn Steraks full tank, and when winning lane will go deaths dance or trinity force.
I have been trying black cleaver and when you complete it it feels really good and you can meme from there,
but if you don't end the game REALLY soon it ends up becoming pretty bad/outscaled (by even iceborn) as your base AD gets higher and higher.

Death's dance I'm not sold on just yet. I like just having warmongs and regen between fights.

I think he builds very safely (Grasp of the Undying) because it's pretty much high elo and people know how to deal with Yorick and what are his strengths. It's kind of like why Maknoon plays Illaoi with Stormraider's Surge since the movement speed is really good for an immobile champion.
Though, Maknoon builds so fucking weird. He builds Doran's Blade, then goes Trinity Force and then Black Cleaver. He's a madman.

Trinity Illaoi/Darius is for extreme lane dominance and stronger objective taking power, but usually you only ever build it if you're already ahead and it's usually Youmuu's > Tforce, instead of Tforce AND cleaver.

It's a gamble that requires you to close out the game quickly because you're squishier and went for flat instead of percentage pen, but your W can take turrets crazy fast because of sheen procs and Gblade active and you do like 60% of a squishy's HP.
