I tried yesterday and got to 3/5 before someone else won (a message about hearing a caw in the distance shows through the entire zone) about 29 hours before I found the first crystal tonight. I'm not sure when the respawn is set, but I've heard some soruces say 12 hours to 4 days, with it not being up right after a server reset.

If you want to look for it yourself, the wowhead page has some tomtom coord macros, but 3/5 of what i got tonight weren't listed on it. Thankfully, I never saw any around Faronaar (the legion-controlled portion,) Watcher's Isle or that area with the elite banshees.

I think I see why people complain about having nothing to to do, its really about progression people want to feel like they moved forward in this game.

If you think back to TBC, for the sake of example, your heroic lvl 70 blue item was what, ilvl 110 or so? Kil'jaeden, the later added big bad of the expansion dropped like what, ilvl 164 loot? Black Temple was around 150 iirc.

Now compare that to the current state of things.

People complained about gear lasting for so little back in Vanilla/TBC but now the situation is far more extreme. If you're not part of the 860+ crowd, which I am but just for the sake of this post, you're gonna have a tough time. Sure, you can certainly find a guild that accepts you, form your own groups, pay for boost, whatever, but the divide, the gap is there and it is wider than ever. Personally the situation doesn't affect me that much since I am a poopsocking NEET, but it will start affecting me when I can't poopsock anymore.

I agree anon, I think blizzard are realizing that casual players are being shafted in M+ and are slowly upping the levels of world quest to compensate, trial of valor should compensate as well because it should have an LFR.

It's just shame the gap of ILV exists and it's slowly turning into a 99% thing. Where the have nots feel helplessly trapped in low ILV hoping for lucky RNG rolls that week so they have the chance to experience more content.

I think legend drops are the biggest offender by having them in such a stat it gives boost groups motivation to farm low level keys and create this problem in the first place. blizzard should just give them a higher drop rate in higher m+ to stem some of the people spamming 2+ keys for this reason, yes shitters will still spam 2+ keys because its easier and they're bad but people may actually do it for the increased chance. The game really is to much about ilv now.
