Ronan is all about having constant CC. Since his best CC move is his 3* which does mind damage, you'll be using it a bunch, hence the mind damage boost. Ignore Dodge to make sure none of your CC attacks miss, since that could screw your rotation up. Invincibility to help with survival.

You could probably get by with something different though.

Does the "shockwave when hit" proc work when the character is Immune to All Damage? Figured it might be useful on White Tiger if it does.

How do you guys force yourselves to save your gold? I really want to finish strange and I need over 20 million to get him from 5* to 6*. I have a little over 4 million right now but I have no ability to save up. There are just so many little expenses like buying stuff in the lab, and upgrading gears that I tend to do a lot and they add up big time. I never came close to black order 6* and now that I see how much strange is going to take to get from 5-6 I'm worried he's going to be at 5 for a long long time.

I pretty much already can 27/35 WBs, which is good enough for me, and have already some of my favorites at T2. Now that AB is shit I don't really need to work anymore chars towards that, so saving gold is easier than ever for me.

I straight up have no fucking idea how I saved up all the gold needed for Thanos. Two months of not buying anything from the lab store, never upgrading skills, only upgrading gears on characters I'm actively using, never upgrading ISO (which turned out to be the biggest gold saver of all, so I've stopped upgrading ISOs entirely), etc.

It was painful, but I managed. You can too. Although with the AB gold nerf, things just got significantly harder. That was the best source of gold afterall. Now all we've got is co-op, which is extremely time consuming, only viable if you're VIP3+, and reliant on RNG being in your favor.

First thing you have to cut out though is ISO-8 upgrading. That shit will kill your gold supply if you're trying to make 5* or 6* ISOs. Then avoid buying nornstones from the lab store because that's a very easy money sink.

Y'know. I wonder why I even play this game. Timeline is basically the only mode you can use the characters you like but 90% don't stand a chance against Sharon Rogers who's on every team now

It was easier before the ab nerf but I haven't saved gold in a long time. I saved a few mil for thanos but when the update dropped I used to all on gearing characters, upgrading skills and cards for shadowlands (I went from floor six to nine). I never saved more than about 8 million at one time because I always wanted to use it fast on so I wouldn't be tempted to use it on something else

When I was working on Proxima, as soon as I got any gold over about 200k (in case 4* ISOs show up in the lab shop), I immediately threw it into BAM to avoid the temptation of spending it on something else.

With one exception: I did T2 Daredevil and level up his skills, which delayed it by another week. But I don't regret it, Daredevil is actually pretty great.

They're all pretty good, but the only one that's a certified meme is the Ancient One. Great leadership, great T2, great WB striker, removing buffs and debuffs, and practically unkillable. Her only flaw is that her DPS is pretty shitty but she's easily one of the best support characters in the game.

It's legitimately good. The heal proc could've been better but even at 10%, with the RR, you'll get a lot of mileage out of it on any character that can stall for time (or in modes where you can swap to other characters who can stall for time).

Thanks to Guaranteed Dodge, DD's solid, and pretty fun to play as. Gotta put some work into him and cap dodge out to get full mileage, but once that's done he'll get shit done in any game mode.

You're likely gonna need his latest uniform, though, unless you've already got a decent amount of dodge from cards or some double dodge obelisk lying around.

Mordo is really worse with his uni that without, ain't he? Blast Mordo is like AoE+CC king while Speed Mordo is just DD clone.

Invisibility just does nothing. In theory, I guess it should make you not targetable by the enemies and they'll target your clones instead but this doesn't happen. Ancient Waifu can afford it because she has immune to all damage for a pretty good time but Clea only has shield with pretty low count, so she's pretty fucked.

Not to mention, because her clones will almost never targeted, her entire T2 buff is kinda useless.

Man, this game is grindy as fuck when it comes to some characters, but I'll be damned if it doesn't feel good when the grind finally pays off. Granted, I didn't actually grind for Chulk, and I may not even use him after getting him to 60 for the crystals, but still, it's always nice to have another 6*.

RR+healing obelisk is quite good for Silk. Usual advice applies for 4th gear: if SCD matters, cap that, otherwise Defense Penetration. For Silk SCD absolutely matters for keeping the shield up as much as possible.

And yes, while Fightdog may be useful by himself if invested into, he truly shines as a buff for another, better character. His T2 makes him the best stat stick in the game.

If you don't have either of the big two, Loki or Sharon, either is an excellent choice.

Skirmishcanine is a fine choice as well. Even though he's technically farmable, he's one of the slowest-obtained farmable characters in the game, and an excellent filler for any WB team. He turns mediocre damage into pretty goddamn good, or when you're finally at 5/5 anyway he'll turn excellent damage into 30 second clear times.

Well, I think some clarification about this chart would be useful.

For example, is it a chart specifically of the most useful T2 bonuses / the largest character power increases by T2ing a character that's already 6*? Or is it a guide of what characters are just good to have at T2, meaning if you don't have the character, you should start farming for them?

If it's the former, you could probably bump Sin and Silk down a tier since their T2 bonus is already really good. You'd also probably have to bump Lash up a tier, since it makes him actually playable. If it's the latter, then why not include characters that aren't T2, as compared to current T2 characters?

It's kind of a mix of both I guess. Like for characters like Silk, SR, Hypayrion, which are all very good at T1, it's still worth it to T2 them if you can, it wouldn't necessarily be a waste. Characters which got a worthless T2 or are themselves worthless even at T2 should just be crossed out at the bottom.

Holy shit, how are you supposed to deal with this guy? He's fast, his spin is nearly impossible to dodge, he can deal insane amounts of damage through shields, has tons of 1hko aoe attacks, sometimes even ignores GBI and takes you for a spin. Nearly impossible to deal with.

I think we're seeing the mid tier differently and the treatment of an already good character getting a T2 to make them even better, such as YJ, GP, Silk, Hyperion.
Like with your examples for mid tier, I'd say they go with top with the exception for WW since he would be niche or specific performance (to buff other characters), same with GR since his T2 is only good against villains (so people like Malekith and Miles would be stuck in mid due to niche).

I've got a pretty good roster that can 30/30 and get to floor 13 or so in SL consistently, and I still sometimes settled for 4/5 because the 5th win on him just relied on pure luck and wasn't worth the trouble a lot of the time.

Fortunately he's a joke now that I have ancient waifu and satana (both of who dumped on his ass solo today) and strange on the horizon, so I don't expect him to ever be a problem again. It depends what people are going for though.

If its to try and get SL15 for the selectors, then bringing a character that is shit at T1 but great at T2 (like MK or ANTS) is a very good investment. Whereas making a character that's already good (enough to clear a SL floor solo at T1, like sharon) is kind of a "wasted" T2 in that context.

If its for something like TL, then all of a sudden the best T2s are the ones that make memes even more meme. And now taking a shit character to pretty good isn't good enough.

So the T2 tier list really comes down to what its being used for to be viewed as "correct" or not. Its a quality vs quantity thing, with quality being better for one-and-done modes like TL or AB, and quantity being infinitely more useful for modes that prefer deeper rosters.

Lincoln can stunlock with his 5*
Daisy is pretty much only used for her buffing
Venom is really good in SL with his CC, I use him on floor 1 each week.
I only use DL for his leadership
Ultron is surprisingly good in SL too since his summons are physical and get in the way of the enemy and keep them locked down with the repeated attacks.

Maybe add something to specify luxury T2s for lack of a better term? Characters like YJ/wasp/SB/gwen/silk for example are all really good at T1 already imo - can do WB/SL/whatever pretty effectively. Not like they don't still get better with T2 but it could be useful to have something to differentiate them from characters that flat out suck nuts at t1 and the t2 makes them playable/good. Other than that looking good desu

I actually don't think anyone even know about SG tbqhwy. I haven't seen anyone here that's commented on their T2 SG and maybe no one even has her at T2. I just got mine to 6* this week so I can't say much about her either. I'm going to try her on some SL floors after the reset and see what she can do, with so many iframes and a summon that seems to scale okay I can't imagine she's that bad.

I think she's just in that awkward spot where no one really knows how good she is, but its not blatantly clear she's good, so no one wants to take the leap on resources to try her out.

like, Green Goblin and Ulti Green Goblin are alright being different, but both Visions are the same even though the class is different, same with Winter Soldier, although his moveset changes he still fullfills the same roles

It isn't a character tier list, just focused on the T2 advancement worthiness. Ronan's uni definitely makes him better and should be bought if you intend to use him, but doesn't really factor into how his T2 works.

SqG was the second character I farmed to 6* from the NA Special missions and honestly I've never used her. But from what I've read she has good iframes and is hard to hit if played right but her dps is just lacking and primarily comes from Tippy-Toe, which is Combat type I think, so it's useless on floors where you would use SqG for her Speed typing.
