Literally the only reason you would ever absolutely NEED those tools is if you're doing mushin's tower so poorly you go from 100 to 0 before you're done. There's no excuse not to top your durability off with normal tools before every dungeon, campfires are everywhere.

It's been awhile since I've done Tomb4 without a warlock. Generally I do at least 40k without Soul Burn on that fight, probably closer to 45k. The last screenshot of damage breakdown I have without a warlock is a month ago. The top 3 without SB are Tiger Strike, Searing Palm, and Comet Strike. I actually forgot to take a screenshot of the damage breakdown of the one I posted, but one from a couple days ago is Tiger Strike, Comet Strike, Awakened Searing Palm, regular Searing Palm isn't too far behind.
Aside from SB itself, this fight is somewhat rigged for KFM. Before getting the ToI amulet, my average crit rate was like 85-90%, now it's closer to 90-95%. We'll get more out of the crit damage buff than classes with lower crit rates. I still do competitive DPS outside of this fight. Of course ahoka out damages me by a decent margin, and will get even more with the meteor reset from inferno hits amulet. It's still pretty high imo. Despite the memes, having the boss stay in one spot and be predictable makes having a BM/KFM very useful. That combined with KFMs group dps buffs leads me to believe that overall a KFM is in a perfectly fine spot when it comes to damage.
The ToI amulet is super good if there are any KFMs left out there. It adds 5 AP mod to Comet (25% dmg increase on S1) and allows you to rush straight to stage 4 Searing Palm all the time. You also just get to use Comet Strike more in general.

I've noticed this a lot when I was running Tomb6. Melee move away from the boss during fire phase instead of using SS at the last second to iframe the explosion. You can keep dpsing the boss and then ss at 1 second so the explosion is out of range of other melee. You wait maybe 1 more second for him to target the lava pool on you and gap close back in. If you ss'd towards the outside of the room, the lava pool will land somewhere harmless. There's a few other things I've noticed too. You can DPS the boss even during the close marker phase. The issue is your tank and marker have to be consistent. If the tank is always keeping the boss on the same location, its very easy for the marker to just ss into the bosses' jump attack right before he puts up the mark. This allows all of your melee to just keep dpsing him while he's jumping. If you're standing behind the boss at max range you should never get hit by the chain. I've seen people just move away from the boss during this part and not attack at all. If both the marker + conductors in front are max range and you're in the back at max range, you can keep dpsing. If you've ever watched my stream, I never stop dpsing on that fight. I'm sure there's a bunch of small things that add up to more dps. Most of them I probably don't even notice anymore. It's sort of what happens if you've run Tomb nearly 600 times. There's stuff like this on every fight to find ways to optimize dps. I don't message or call anyone out on stuff like this because I have no idea how they would take it. I also don't know if they would care. Not everyone likes to go tryhard with their dps. If someone asks tho, I'd try to help every way I can.

Des Dps is shit overall only because we have like 2 damage abilities with the rest of our skills being utility/support. Add in grabbing and it's a overall loss. I have had fights where I say fuck the grabs and have sunburn with blue buff which changes the game. You can see Dps spike really high with those going.

that's probably true at an older age bracket but i'm in my early/almost mid 20s and there are still a lot of people who havent even been in a relationship and i think it's reasonable to want to feel that out. some people can deal with inexperienced people and some cant. once i get older i'll just assume everyone has been in atleast one "serious" relationship so we can stop talking like that at that point

Depending on autism level you can get to level 50 fairly quickly and only need to do story quests mostly. They've streamlined levelling superhard. Endgame is grind. Depending on which class you pick you will have an easier time doing pve.
