ABC has two outs, both of which cannot be responded to by the way ABC decks are constructed.
1) System Down, which requires Spell negation, and none of the latest OCG decklists carry;
2) Kaiju, which requires a block on Special Summons, which none of the latest OCG decklists use, either.
Both of those cards are easily added in from the Side Deck without ruining consistency at all, and are fairly easy to obtain in real life, System Down from players holding on to them for years from when Cyber Dragon into Fortress was a thing, and Kaiju because they were just released in Japan and the cards didn't cause a huge splash in the West. Even poor-man cards, Light-Imprisoning Mirror and Imperial Iron Wall, can stop ABC.

The only way ABC has a way to win is if they win the Rock-Paper-Scissors battle.

Absolutely disgusting. We already have stuff like lightsworns, we don't need this shit.

Instead, I think the new mechanic Konami should try to push is something a either A) super versatile but limited in power, or B) super powerful, but very high risk.

A) could consist of something similar to xyz, or synchros. Make it generic but require you to at least build a deck somewhat around it. For example, negative "synchros" is something I've thought about for a while now. Any leveled monster combined with "tuners" (let's call them limiters) to summon a monster with the combined difference in their levels. For example, a level 8 non tuner and a level 1 resonator could summon a level 7 of this new monster type. It's simple enough in concept to appeal to kids but versatile enough to use in combos.
And if you really were worried about a new form of synchro spam, just give the new monsters a form of level that they can't use for their own summons, like Xyz's Ranks.

B) Konmoney loves their boss monsters, lets face it. Whether pushing them in the anime or in the game, they're always trying to push that one end all be all card. So, we create a boss monster for every deck. Place it in the extra deck with the restriction you may only summon one of this type of card per duel, and make the cost to summon it very resource intensive (i.e. discard your entire hand of at least 4 cards, pay 7000 lp, tribute 3 monsters with at least 2000 or more attack) but have its effects be very generically good or extremely good archetype support, such as a monster reborn every turn, two searches per turn for the archetype, something to make it worth the investment. Ideally the summon should be non negatable if you're going to invest the resources as well.

Idk, these are just some ideas I had. Feel free to voice your opinions.

Phoenix Gearfried is meh, dark storm has the heavy storm effect and is dragon if you ever want to use dragon shrine.
Max Terraforming, Catalyst Field is the crux of the deck.
Unleash your Power! is cool, haven't tried 2 yet but at 1 it comes in clutch at times. Works in a pinch when you don't have the field.
Don't bother with Gemini Counter or Trap Hole, they're bad.
