Oh man I just played a game as Pharah vs a determined Genji. He kept trying to dash m2 me out of the sky but just couldn't pull it off. I just waited until he double jumped then fired my rockets at where he was going to land. He wasted way too much time trying to kill me.

Then he also switched to pharah and tried to 1v1 me out of the sky, so I just straight up ignored him and shot at the rest of his team. He was so busy with me he never contributed to his team's final push and we won with him high in the air far away from the payload still trying to airshot me. His entire team shit talked him afterwards and he left immediately. Feels good.

And yeah, trying to score splash hits is stupid, the only way you will ever kill genjis is getting close range midairs, or predicting where they land and getting directs on them.
the only way this isn't going to work if genji is smart enough to not use deflect but dodge rockets via double jump and swift strike, and then reflecting only when they have no other cooldowns left

a good genji player will panic pharahs into reflects, much like when youre against an ulting mccree, you NEVER just pop reflect, you headshot him with shurikens first and then instantly pull up reflect, most of the time they will panic shoot and get themselves killed. same with pharahs.
