No tracking, short as fuck range, just slow enough startup you can only combo it off a mid-combo knockback teleport, and has a long after-animation "stall" so you're usually better off just combo-ing into a Light stamina break anyway. Fridges are now somehow annoying to combo with or is it just me? They don't have good teleport->guard cancels like my female saiyan does where you can guard right after a combo that contains a teleport and reset yourself allowing you to enter any new combo.

Also I didn't realize it until I played a Frieza race character but unlike XV1 you can't just dash after an opponent immediately after doing an attack that blows them away, fridges being fast in XV1 I used to blow niggas away all the time and catch up to them before they could recover, even after special moves like hawk charge, and start a new combo but you can't do it in this game. You can only teleport after them which costs stamina. What's the point of being sanic fast if you can't chase people with your speed?

Now I did notice you can cancel with a short dash move (tapping dash button) after certain combos like weak x5, strong x2, hold the last strong hit and instead dash cancel. At least that's something but it really bugs me you can't combo into emperor's blast using the one that ends with your back against the opponent because they can immediately recover before the blast hits. That would be like 10/10 use for that move but nope, can't have fun.

You can combo off their regular light string fairly well. Just go either right before the teleport or right after, depending what you're comboing into. It also combos straight into their heavy string after the teleport, which makes for an easy bread-and-butter basic attack combo.

there's two good combos I've found
One is rather simply
basic attack until dash "cutscene" then heavy attacks
does around 4k damage for me at 125 but -20 basic attack arrows

the other one is a bit harder but seems like it could be infinite, you just change to heavy attacks one attack sooner, so right before you knock them away, it'll knock them away but differently, then you'll teleport dash ahead of them and do the over the shoulder punch or whatever, then you can start a reset light attack chain again and either do the same again or go back to the first combo, or even just do a light attack string

People intentionally avoided doing those stupid ass moves flying around the opponent kicking them back and forth for a reason.
They wasted huge amounts of time, pissed off other players and did very little damage.

Now they are a staple part of the game and impossible to avoid doing. To implement this crucial feature that nobody wanted the fucked up combat even further.

There's no teleport in the regular light string though? It ends with a grab type thing and then a smack that sends the opponent flying down. The only teleports I saw were XXXXX YYY but it can't be cancelled, it's always that backhand blow and the other one is YXYXY which you can cancel to but the window is really short after it so you can only land very fast stuff.

When is someone going to get on making the Pastebin guide already for wishes, time eggs, outfit unlocks etc.?

We have all this information coming through threads and no one is logging it.

What I've found is that if you turn right when they dash (they usually only dash at 3 stamina bars for some reason), they'll dash out of your next basic chain right before the end of the heavy chain when you would do the spinning knockdown. Which isn't all that bad

I just noticed this but in gold mode you can dash cancel after weak x1-4, strong x2 with a quick step dash and then start a new combo. You can't do it in regular form. I guess there are some perks to gold form besides stat boosts I didn't know of.

i play male saiyan but when the enemy is low on stamina (<2 bars) i do light mash into the auto rush combo and vanish on the final hit. after the vanish i do heavy mash into the final hit which is a downward smash. vanish that, than do stamina break after the vanish. to make sure it combos you have to do the stamina break the instant you reappear after the vanish otherwise they can recover out of the ultimate.

The best part about Goku Black is his Ultimate. Everything else feels incredibly worthless.

You can combo into Super Ki blasts pretty easily. Use the practice mode to figure out which ones do a lot of damage and to figure out which ones will combo the best with your playstyle. Ki Ults are pretty simple to use.

Normal Ki blasts are a bit different. I use them to squeeze in some extra damage whenever I knock an opponent to the floor or to disrupt enemies when they're attacking allies. Charged regular Ki blasts are kinda hard to land, but can be altered using Z-Souls to be homing, explosive, or to be changed into a small flurry of fast blasts.

You guys told me pre-release there's a mode that ignores stats and makes everyone the same except for movesets but I can't see one.
