But a lot of spooky things have that trope, especially in asia. I'm kind of glad about the Special Edition. After a few years I'd lost track of the modding scene and now people were talking Mod Organizer and stuff, when I'd been working manually, using Boss and Wyre Bash, and generally working a lot less smoothly than before, and the catchup felt uncomfortable. Now we're all back in the same boat, and mods are fresh again as everyone picks around trying to put things back together. So I can fiddle around Vanilla again, figure out again what I really REALLY want to change, and adapt to the new mod scene with you lot.

Okay, fine, but be careful. Do NOT load it all at once and then jump in afterwards expecting it all to work. Go piecemeal, load mods in chunks, try to get a focus on one part of the change at a time, one big mods or maybe six or seven. I've seen people just get utterly fed up trying to fix their shit.

Seriously though, make a vanilla backup before any of this. It'll save you a headache later. You'll make mistakes, we all did.

The saves could be an issue (since you'll have mods enabled on it) but you can disable mods and overwrite mods with ease. Just drag them around, check and uncheck.

I'll be waiting for MO to mod SE. Just going through in vanilla again for now.

Hit shift + enter in game to get the ENB menu, scroll down to [environment] and fiddle with point lighting values there. Changes won't get saved unless you click on save configuration so don't be afraid to experiment a lot.

I'd go with LOOT for sorting it, and TES5Edit to check if there are any conflicts, missing masters, or anything else that might cause problems or CTDs. I haven't even used the Sort button, I assumed it was more for sorting it via filters.

Once you have MO, launch every executable (FNIS, BodySlide/Outfit Studio, SKSE, TES5Edit, etc) all through MO. Otherwise they won't be able to see mods as MO uses a different folder to keep your vanilla install clean, removing the need for a backup. Saves a lot of disk space on top of allowing you to swap mods often AND make custom profiles for specific mods.

MO is amazing.
