Learn to backhit. Cooler's actually pretty predictable with his Z-Vanishes so if you pour on the pressure and anticipate it, you can make him waste his stamina and then go for the BIG DAMAGE. Maintaining your own stamina is also key.

Once Cooler goes down, Freeza isn't a pushover himself but he's easier to deal with. Don't rely on Goku to do anything except keep him busy while you fight Cooler and use the same strategy to defeat Freeza.

It was the total opposite for me.
I got to leisurely take Cooler on while Frieza ignored everything but Goku cause muh Super Saiyajin Densetsu.
Granted Goku did fuck all to Frieza so I had to kill him from nearly full health too.

Leisurely my ass though, Cooler and Freezy both were Super Vanish Bros. in that fight.

Ultimates in general have become real fucking pointless. They've been nerfed so much that it causes more harm than good, I shouldn't have to rely on stamina breaking just to get a chance to get a hit, something that isn't really viable when you've got next to no health left for example.

Sta is pretty much the god stat in this. If you can't out-vanish your foe and break his Sta you're going to lose.

Honestly they should just remove Sta as a thing entirely, the whole game is based off managing it because you'll get combo'd to death instantly if you ever Sta break.

I'm focused into basic attack and ki blasts with my fem saiyan - using rush ki supers (ki blasts that fire quick) is great for the end of a combo.

I find Super Dragon Fist into Final Kamehameha a great combo as well.
Masenko and Kaioken Kamehameha are great ki moves that fire quick, used for the reasons mentioned above
I'm still looking for a good second ult, but for now Super Ki Explosion is a kinda nice defensive move.

I always thought Piccolodick should've gotten an actual transformation so he could stay relevant. There are so many different looking nameks now that you'd think it would be easy to come up with something other than a recolor.

Freezypops and Saiyans would probably be relatively hard to make, just in the sense that you would have to make more assets if you want to give people the chance to customize their transformations, different super saiyan hairs for saiyans, no eyebrows or eyebrows for SS3. And in the case of freezypops the problem would be that their body changes in size a lot, first form, final and gold would be easy, you would just need a couple of unique assets for those. But 2nd, 3rd and Cooler's would need a new body type since they're even bigger than Piccolos.

But i don't know how animations work, maybe Cooler could already use all the skills in the game in which case you'd just have to make more assets.

Majins could just let you customize a kid and a skinny version, and for absorption they could just steal whatever the enemy is using on their torso, and fridge horns.

Humans are fucked, enjoy your Kaioken and unlocked potential you don't get anything cool.

I dont know, on the subject of Freezy transformations I honestly would just be satisfied with the transformation basically just unlocking some sort of secondary CAC "slot" that you can temporarily change into so you get to choose whether you go big to small like Frieza, small to big like Cooler, or just get a color swap like Golden Frieza. I can't imagine it'd be that hard to just have you jump between each model when you transform, and just have you quickly "poof" into your normal form when it runs out like Golden Frieza turning back into Final Frieza

The best way to do freezy pop transformations is probably giving you a new form to decide on every 20 levels.

Cooler is an anomaly with his 5th form, apparently. Frieza's Fourth form and Cooler's "Base" form is supposedly the "true form" of Freezies. So, that's why you make whatever, with horns if you gotta, for your initial Freezy, but if we're talking about Xenoverse 2's method of getting golden and stuff, then Freiza would just offer to teach you to "Limit your power" like he does, giving you a chance to come up with a "lower form" that you would start in, in every fight. Transformations are linear and no going back, except Golden when you eventually get it.

No idea about how the other freezy forms would affect stats though, but that's probably how it should be done.

Saiyans are easy on the other hand. What's really fucked is that both Kid Trunks' hair and his Super Saiyan hair are different options for humans and saiyans, and clearly the canon transforming Saiyans are capable of doing the hair switch. It would be stupid if you got to pick both your base and super saiyan hair separately, though, so they should just roll Trunks' two together and starting coming up with updos for the rest. Though, GOHAN's hair obviously doesn't need it since his hair as adult never changes with SS or PU. On that note, Potential Unleashed should probably do the Super Saiyan hair thing as well, even for humans.

I think Cooler stays in his "true form" because he can control it, i remember Frieza saying that he used his transformations because it was too hard to control his full power. But Cooler's schtick back then was that he wasn't a pussy like Frieza, so i always assumed he trained and he could control his power, and that's why he had another form instead of just bulking like Frieza when he used his 100%. So basically his final form would be the true form of 100% power. But Frieza is a freak of nature and a prodigy so he managed to go further beyond and turn gold.

But also Cooler isn't canon so his transformation is irrelevant, which is a shame because it's cooler than gold frieza.

That sounds pretty neat, every 20 levels you get to recustomize your character if you want. Or maybe, every 20 levels you unlock more customization options for fridge.

Maybe at level 20 you get the option to get big and meaty, and at level 60 you get the option to turn into a twink ayylmao, and then at lvl 80 you turn either gold or into Shredder.

His evasive is unique where he can basically goes into a punch/kick frenzy as long as you hold the input (if you have the ki)

His ult is a pretty standard beam but you can adjust where you're at when you begin it and you're invulnerable while you're positioning

His stuff's pretty decent

Don't forget to take Appule to a movie or something once in a while to show you still care. After all, everyone else likes you now that you're strong, but he was there from the beginning.

Honestly, theres no balance at all to the Ult's. The majority should at least have really good homing that forces people to actively block or vanish. As it is now, anything but instant Ult's are just begging people to Sta break you, and some Ult's can near 1 shot people if they're Sta broken.

It works for me. I had to redo my stats with the dragonballs because of the stamina, but since I'm putting nothing into Strike Supers and very little into health, it leaves plenty to spare to counter-act the stamina loss.

I may wind up with something better in the future, but this is the best thing I've got so far for my CaC

That's my biggest qualm with the game. At least PvP-wise. Theoretically, a good player could prevent ALL snap vanishes just by watching for them since there's a pretty generous window. It's silly.

Where is the 2x exp Super Soul? I thought it was around the school but I can't find it.

Guys, do 25 points into Ki/Stamina still equal 1 bar? Im sitting at level 80 not having put points into anything. Anyone know any numbers for stat investment in general?

Yeah you kinda fucked up there. The game was kinda designed for a Xbox controller in mind. PS3/4 should work no problem.
