We try to push one add, but some of our dps are struggling i.e they are shit one fight and good the other and then they seemingly rotate. I never join groups that don't have a ilvl pre-req or groups that have pre-reqs under my ilvl, doing that is just asking for trouble.

The first Kara attune mythic I did I had a group full of people who thought they were going to blow through the dungeon because they had big dicks for doing +2s and the occasional +3 and it probably took the longest time I've ever been in any mythic because they were screwing around and laughing at how "easy" it seemed. I left that group and joined a group that had a 865 minimum and blew through the other 3 in 45 minutes.

I'm pretty selective about the groups I sign up for. I try to join groups that have high ilvl mins with tanks already in the group but if I can't I'll sit and monitor who is signing up just to make sure they aren't accepting some 845 tank for a +5.

The worst experience I had with this method was that we were doing a +3/4 DHT with 860 minimum but the leader was bringing along a sham guildie who was pulling less than 100k so it took twice as long. You really don't have to wait longer than like 5 minutes trying to find a high ilvl group, even for the +6-8 tier.

I've been playing mostly alone for a while in wow because I hardly even log on. I do casual shit like collect some mogs and post auctions and shit. There's nothing impossible about it, I don't even have Legion. The only thing you can't do alone in this game (assuming nothing drastic has changed in legion) is pretty much GROUP content like raids/dungeons.

I read up a bit and most of the world quests seem to be soloable and those are supposed to be a way to get gear that can be as good as raid gear.

How the fuck can he expect people to take him serious when he claims it is impossible to solo?
There are plenty of things wrong with WoW and Blizzard's game design but from what I can tell it mostly stems from making things soloable, not the other way around.
