So what are best infantry & archers for assaulting castles in AD1257? There's plenty of cavalry choices, but they're hella expensive to lose on the walls. Most factions seem to have shitty infantry, nothing like huscarls.

You get 3 RTR for simply being a aligned with a faction when peace is declared. I have gotten >50 RTR within 100 days in many mods because of this. Especially mods with "Diplomacy" where there are constant weak wars declared to honor defensive pacts.

But even in Native it is very easy to gain a minimum of 6-9 RTR per contract the +3 RTR is junk. Especially when it may make your destabilize your companion group all game. Because yes while companions initially rejoin at 100 morale companion dislikes among each other persist all game.

If it is a one-time thing that changes things I suppose. I still find it negligible since maxing out 99 RTR is pretty easy in most mods so I find maintaining the companion roster more valuable.

That sounds like a good approach and that approach applied universally would be for the best I think.

Being able to make faction allegiance immediately discernible is something that I hope Bannerlord addresses. The way I see it they either need to make the armor represent the faction color prominently or have the lords always revert to the faction troop trees they are aligned with.

Anything to make the floating circles above troop heads a non-requirement for basic gameplay.

Someone needs to do a mounted archer playthrough where banners are not displayed and post how high their friendly KO/Kills are by endgame.

If lance controls is set to automatic in the option reaching a set speed on horseback will automatically couch the lance, without left clicking. If it set to manual you need to input a key to couch it, can't remember wich one tho.
