Who essentially milked people for the loot money that was passively collected and rarely let newbies use the guild money for repair.

1. you'll level up your guild to level 25 faster
2. they all passively generate you money

or joining because

1.its a level 25 guild so you get all the benefits
2. there so big they give you a 1g repair allowance

Those aren't good reasons to join a guild, those aren't why people should be in guilds, no one in your vanilla guild joined that guild for that reason. almost everyone in cata got invited or joined because of those reasons.

Oh yeah there are better choices but not many of affliction's legendaries are that great anyway.

The hood is nice for adds I guess but affliction will never have burst damage and if you're not a shitter then Agony is never going to drop off the target(s) anyway.

The wrists give you a 4% damage increase for each enemy that has unstable affliction on them but unstable only lasts 8 seconds and you use them all on one target anyway so the increase isn't much. The stats on it are the best part imo.

The waist gives you a 25% chance to get a soul shard refunded when you apply unstable to a target that doesn't have unstable on it, this is probably the best legendary for affliction, too bad it doesn't have mastery.

The legendary boots that priests, mages and warlocks share is also very good since it gives haste/mastery and allows you some mobility which warlocks don't have.

So really if I was him I'd be happy with the ring, most of the options are shitty/low impact anyway.

Do you guys think blizzard will redesign quickening? Arcane should have a conserve and burn fases however, this talent is completely against such rotation. To maximize our dps we have to keep quickening up no matter what and this includes standing without casting anything for a few moments to regenerate mana. I think this rotation is ridiculous.

Quickening should be changed to either:
- make arcane barrage clear a few stacks
- Gain 5% haste for each spell with a maximum of 25 stacks and loose some stacks when we barrage
- Give about 60% haste when we use arcane power
- (other potential staff)

I really liked the Tome of WoD. It made arcane cooldowns feel extremely strong. Now I simply can't get that feeling.
