What's the best class/loadout to fuck up a vehiclefags day? I want to be able to take out tanks and artillery trucks, without being dependent on my stupid teammates. I'm already excellent with the AA gun but would like another option if possible when I'm on the move.

I don't see any way of selecting it, and since the gadget is labeled "AIR" I would assume you'd need a different gadget or something.

Are private servers fully customizable? Like restricting weapons to factions, making it majority bolt action, etc? In essence is it possible to have custom gameplay?

Dynamite is pretty bad, against a heavy tank where you'd use it allahu akbar style, you will get insta killed before even getting 1 kilometer from it, Since third person mode is a thing they can see you running to plant it and will run over you or switch turrets to kill you. Only real use I can see is as a trap waiting for them to come by.

AV grenades are nice but you only get 3, same with rocket rifle, very nice but such low ammo. And good luck trying to get ammo in the heat of battle. Just now in this match I was hitting a heavy tank from all sides, threw my dynamite, followed up with rocket shots to stop his repair cycle after he hid behind a hill. Eventually I died after running out of ammo, spamming "MORE AMMO" the entire time while I'm in a trench with 3 support guys.

Which ones should I use? Landship? Heavy? Light?

Which variants are the best ones to use? I tried Light Tank Howitzer and it was pretty good.

Howitzer is great, it fucks up all vehicles easily, and has a insanely accurate MG, plus it had the emergency repair + smoke, which are incredibly useful gadgets

Flanker is also great, its two shell types rip through infantry real easily, and if you maneuver well, can also fuck up vehicles. Whats especially nice, is your canister shot shreds through Blimp health, plus you got mines to ruin tanks

Tankhunter landship is good if you have two dudes with mics and lots of coordination, otherwise fuck it

Default heavy nets me about 44-50 kills a game, if there are enough guys. Literally the only thing you have to worry about is AT mines or being outnumbered against enemy armor. Save your quick repair for escapes, or other heavy armor. Shoot shells at the ground around infantry, shotty people that you can't reliably hit the environment around. Stick back, don't go in the thick of it, unless you have a full tank. Reload when you aren't shooting. I think that's all I've got. Also, it won't happen often, but if you can peg a plane broadside or facing you with the shotty, it will usually go down.

Nearly all setups are viable. Light tank is the best overall though because you're a small target, you don't need to rely on/account for any secondary gunners, and you arguably have the most broken kit (Flanker.)
The Mark V REQUIRES you to have people you can rely on in the secondary turrets (which in practice are your real firepower) so if you play solo then avoid it like the plague.
The A7V is good as well but you're a huge target and if you get flanked you're utterly fucked if nobody is in your rear guns.

In my opinion:
Flanker (Light) > Mortar (Light) > Breakthrough (Heavy) > Flamethrower (Heavy) > Tank Hunter (Landship) > all other kits.

Not him, literally don't understand how people think BF3 is better than anything. It's not a bad game, but it's the closest the franchise has ever come to unabashedly copying call of duty. It takes itself way too seriously, has relatively little content, and a lot of weird changes for the worse.

If there isn't another tank move with the team or a small part of it. Infantry can help clear out Assaults/Supports that want to fuck your shit up and it's generally just good defense. Don't go around by yourself unless the enemy team is at G and you're at A trying to cap the point. In which case go ahead.

The FT is the best tank if you don't like relying on people and/or don't have 2 squadmates who can back you up in the Mark V.
It shits on infantry like no tomorrow with the Flanker kit while the Mortar kit has amazing spike damage and emergency repair which gives it incredible endurance.
Its downsides are just that, you don't have anyone in any secondary guns who can shoot other people while you focus on driving and using the main gun.

The Mark V is theoretically the best tank, especially at anti-tank combat with 10 explosive shots, emergency repair, and an anti-tank rifle for the driver. All this assumes you are really well coordinated however. You're also really slow and a big target and not as durable as the A7V however.

The A7V has the most guns, most health, is the fastest, and while it's worse at anti-tank fighting than the Mark V it combines the best of the Mark V's gunner ports with the main gun of the LT. As in, the driver can still has a "real" gun, but the support guns aren't too shabby either, at least for the Flamethrower and Breakthrough variants.

Like I said, depending on the situation and how few people you'd like to rely on, the LT could be the best tank, but the more people you can rely on, the better the other 2 tanks get.

I feel like this game makes me way too fucking mad.

True. I was talking explicitly about speed. Admittedly the A7V turns like a turd and is horrible at crossing hills and trenches, but if the map is relatively flat and non-cluttered the A7V can get around much better.

EXTREMELY situational. Unless you go out of your way to explicitly *flank* with the FT (which on some maps is practically impossible because they're too open or leave you too exposed) you'll usually be fighting them face-on. Of course, getting behind them means they're fucked because they have no turrets, but in practice getting the first shot on any tank without them being able to respond until the second shot (if at all) usually means you win. And seeing how you have to get up close behind them, you could theoretically do the same with any other tank.

So if you like Shotguns, but want to use one that requires a bit more effort to use over the A10. Then this might be an intesting read.

So after using all variants of the M97 Trench Gun with a combined 750 kills... These are the power rankings for viability in my opinion.

Sweeper - Gives the most consistency in close range. Symthic just released their shotgun info, and it turns out I have data to back it up. Sweeper gives it 50% more pellets. Which helps it at longer ranges too, but not to the extent Hunter does in my experience.

Hunter - Extends your 1 hit kill range by a significant amount. Whether its worth giving up close range lethality on a shotgun with consistency problems is up to you. I think I prefer the Sweeper, but Hunter is definetly solid.

Backbored - Absolute garbage. Terrible consistency and nearly always a 2-3 shot kill unless you're within 6-7 meters. The lowered recoil is insignificant. It's shockingly bad compared to the other two options, and after using all the shotguns a fair amount, I'd say it's a contender for worst shotgun in the game.

How long the game lasts depends on how DICE supports the game. If they treat it like BF4 it should be fine for years, if they treat it like hardline people will move on in no time.

The main thing I'm missing is servers with custom rotations, I really don't want to play every single conquest map on rotation but every conquest server has the same default rotation, I'm hoping they get around to letting server owners decide the rotation themselves soon.
