Any ideas for national ideas for Bactria, a Greek Theravada Despotic Monarchy custom nation with it's capital in Balkh and owning pretty much only the big valley in northern Afghanistan?

After, I don't know. A trade power idea related to the Silk Road? Infantry combat ability with something related to the phalanx? Legitimacy boost ("Descendants of the Diadochi")? Manpower boost/infantry cost reduction ("Army of citizens)? Missionary strength ("Millinda Panha")? Maybe something about vassals ("Satraps")?

I would just like to make clear that Civ VI is a great game, the pros specifically the first one make up for all of the cons. With 1 Expansion I'm absolutely convinced this game with be GOTY worthy. It just needs a bit of polishing.

Pros
- Has all features Civ V had and has greatly improved upon all features, this pro is massively important and is deserving of more explanation but the review would be 10 times longer.

- Massively improved city functionality, the district system brings a new layer of strategy to the game

- Multiple leaders per civ, and the leaders themselves have a massive effect on the feeling and way a civ plays

- The pacing in Civ VI is amazing, throughout the entire game you feel like you just started, at no point does it get stale, slow down, or get boring. Very engaging.

Cons

- Diplomacy, AI is on par with initial release AI of Civ V while the agenda and casus beli systems make this better it's still pretty bad

- Horrible UI, Information is so hard to obtain and is very difficult to find there is also a total lack of visual and auditory clues

- Graphics, while I love the minimalist graphical style they really goofed it up, it is very unclear and unconcise. It almost hurts my eyes to look at just because there is so much clutter.

- Runs horribly, how can I run Red Orchestra, CSGO, Total war RTS and Warhammer at 40, 80, and 40 fps respectively but only run this game at 12 on all low settings?

- This one isn't really concerning due to the technical limitations of our time but, the AI is horrible as always, like in every other game in existence the AI is horrible. This isn't the games fault at all but needs to be brought up nonetheless

- Automatic unit selection, Are you kidding me Firaxis? This is absolutely the worst feature in the game, it goes down a list of your units and automatically selects them, throwing you around the map like a bouncy ball. You can't disable it, this feature has royally screwed me countless times.

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew. The New Testament was written in Greek. By the time the New Testament was composed in to something resembling a bible it had already been translated in to Latin since Latin had replaced Greek as the primary language spoken by the common Christian.

The process of translating the bible from Greek to Latin was bad enough, it involved basically picking and choosing what to add to the bible and what to leave out, and once it was assembled in to what we know today as the bible, no one really wanted to change it.

The Catholic church opposed translating it in the French or German or whatever because translation can be very political, as is obvious from its first translation. The Catholic church didn't want the church splintering because of divergent beliefs due to different translations.
