It's after a fight with the player characters so he's obviously nearly dead and can be killed easier. Also, this expansion's wanking Illidan big time so it's no surprise he can melt Gul'dan. The Illidan encounter against the player characters in black temple was also when Illidan was badly injured from his previous skirmishes against the legion so he could be "killed" easier. Then you have his little scenario where his younger self was summoning black holes. Which makes me wonder what the endgame for legion is and if we'll actually get to fight Illidan again due to possession or some shit.

I'm trying to work out when to use Sheilun's to maximum efficiency, if you can even do that.

It seems like when someone is so low they need that MASSIVE heal they'll either die or be healed more by other healers by the time you cast it. So stacking up any higher than like, six mists, is a waste.

But even then if you were to cast it with 12 mists, you can use your focused thunder tea on two effuses, plus one more, and heal almost the same amount (consider mastery).

I know it costs mana but the upside is it is faster, and you can heal only one or two if you need to use only one or two.

TL;DR
Is Sheilun's best used as a mid-range heal to be mana efficient, as opposed to a huge heal?

Here is how you properly do world pvp lakes.

> pick 5-7 small zones that have instances, are not one of the broken isles or outland/Draenor, sufficiently away from any capital
>. at random, during server prime time, one of these zones will be picked at random. they'll turn into a pvp zone. an arathi basictype game will appear at the quest hubs in the zone. no flying allowed. any graveyard near the capture points is disabled. no taxis into the zone.
>the event lasts for only a hour than the zones go back to normal.
>if you are in a level appropriate range for questing in the zone, or lower. you will be kept from being pvp flagged and can not participate in the objective. everyone higher level was given fair warning as the start of the event will be announced to everyone on the server.
>to win the game, one faction has to click the capture flags. your faction has to hold at least half or majority, depending on zone, of the capture points to getting points. the more points past half/majority you hold the exponentially faster you get points. if you can hold all points at the same time instant win. first to a 1000 points wins.

I never ask more than 10 levels above recommended, that I'm willing to run people through the mechanics, but that they should be able to understand them and pull their weight.

I'm usually overgeared and often doing it with another guildie dps. It seems to work well enough, we usually fill a group faster than the heroic queue.

Anon, Ele IS bad. Not even these bandaid fixes in 7.1 helps it any. Wow 3 instant cast LB/CL but now I've got to do a 1.5 second cast on Stormkeeper. That will certainly help the problem where Ele spells hit like shit and is terrible when having to move.

Go ahead and tell me how the Stormkeeper changes to 3 instacasts help with moving, on a fucking damage cooldown you want to be using every time it comes off CD with a now added ONE POINT FIVE SECOND cast time makes Ele good now.
