I'm really enjoying it. It throws a ridiculous amount of medals at you. I've already done over 10 rolls.
The game mechanics are overly forgiving(large hitboxes, not having to lift off holds)but the trickier maps are fun.
Main stories are band hijinks and drama, but the character stories and current event ones have been wacky comedy. I haven't gotten far in the other bands' stories yet but Cure2tron's(trap band) has been cute and enjoyable. Having a handful of female side characters and no MC-chan feels fresh for 女性向け rhythm games.

If you're already into rhythm mobage and don't mind that it's still full of bugs it's worth checking out.

I've also found the event system is quite fair unlike some male rhythm games, where you can win event cards and they give you score boosts, so you don't have to get lucky in the gacha. Also its great you don't need two cards to 'idolise', it has a breaking system like idolm@ster/enstar

As you go on the gaps between rewards grow, so it's really not worth just getting one band to 500k when the later rewards are worse than early ones.
Go up to 150k for the SSR ticket for each band. Afterwards go back and pick up as many remaining rewards as possible.

The reincarnated version of Elric, who is the reincarnated version of the main hero of of the first game. If you have any interest in reading Kokuchou you should avoid looking into it any further than that.

It felt forced. The connection between the Haitaka and Kokuchou characters didn't feel strong enough for that to be a satisfying conclusion. Too fanservicey.

What bothered me about the Girl End epilogue was MODERN JAPAN. The setting was one my favorite parts of Haitaka, so when they reincarnated into fucking modern Japanese highschoolers it felt like just a big slap in the face. The way Elric and Lawrence were included in the story was interesting and served as a clever little connection between the games. There was no need for them to force the connection further with that ending.

Butterflies are the form souls take when they're ready to be reincarnated/move on from a Psychedelica, If I remember right from Kokuchou, black butterflies still hold the regret and anger from their previous lives and remain trapped in Psychedelica. White butterflies are purified of their chains to their previous life and pass on.
Hugh turning Jed into a butterfly was essentially removing her from the village's Psychedelica, but considering he seems incapable of reincarnating himself he probably just put her into a state similar to what he is.

From what I've remembered there were quite a few grammatical errors and typos, the text often didn't match the voice acting, inconsistent pronoun usage and changing locations. It felt as if the translators didn't communicate with each other and there was no quality control to fix the mistakes.

Speaking of KuraKimi, I just finished one playthrough and it sure was something. I must admit that my attention span was not at its best because it was around 2 am when I finished it. I hung out with Akiyama and it was sort of difficult early on because my "follow your heart" choices didn't line up with 90% of what he wanted to hear. Also, the suspense that the other anon mentioned certainly was there, if a little weird at times.

There was one part where I fucked up and accidentally let Aoi die and I felt awful. Like super, super bad. I reloaded a save just for him, though I considered not doing so because his death cg was pretty

And at the end, why didn't they just try and take off the mask dude's mask? Or did I completely miss the reason why in my haze of sleepiness?

I haven't been screenshotting anything, but if you're familiar with translating, sometimes it's like those ones where they translate Japanese prose too literally into English and didn't bother making it sound good.

It's readable, and I don't think it's machine translation, but it's still a little odd. My guess is that the translators were inexperienced, don't read books, and probably failed creative writing class.
