Those are your options in roughly least autistic to most autistic. However, each game has a very, very different set of strengths and weaknesses to the point t where none is really the best. They all suck in different ways and you just have to find which one works the best for you.

Pretty much everyone likes DIRT Rally though.

It'd be easier to recommend something if you know what you're looking for and what you want to do.

For a "cheap" entry level wheel a DFGT or T150 is good enough. G27s are awesome all purpose wheels but they don't make them anymore so the price has gone up dramatically. The T150 is the newest of the entry level wheels so it's (probably) the best supported by games.

DIRT Rally is very new player friendly partially because rally driving lets you focus on your own driving, and partly because it's the most presentable and intuitive game on that list.

Project CARS is in theory the best introduction to circuit simracing because it has a ton of options, a wide variety of content, and relaxed physics, but the game is fucking broken and it's a damn shame. On the rare occasions it works though, it can be pretty fun.

Assetto Corsa is worth a mention as an alternative. It has pretty accurate physics and is simple to set up for a racing sim. There's not much to do in the game though, but you'll find that a recurring theme the higher you go in the autism spectrum of simracing.

If you want straight up MP simracing with an online career and all that there's nothing else like iRacing. Just be advised that iRacing is stupid expensive and it's fans defend the price by telling you "it's cheaper than racing in real life".

Raceroom Racing Experience is free and my personal favorite. The base content is really fun to play as well with so that's a good game to test the waters of circuit simracing, especially because it's free. Just know that if you start buying content for R3E it can get very expensive very fast if you don't know what you're doing. You need to read strategy guides to get the most bang for your buck in that cluster fuck of a pay model.

Depends on the plane. The Mig-21 will easily shut the engine down if you pull negative Gs for too long or if you go too fast. Neither of them are necessarily fatal.

Hi there anon I am also a VR fag, if you have issues clicking out of the window just press alt+enter and you won't have such an issue as it stretches DCS on your whole monitor without effecting it in VR.

VR in DCS has got to be the most amazing and immersive thing I've ever experienced in gaming in general. However the issue is the fact that you are essentially a blind man and finding enemy targets becomes extremely hard and somewhat frustrating. Airquake is a little bit better since you have your radar but you'll still be disadvantaged. Nonetheless still an amazing experience the biggest thing I was blown away by was the sense of scale you get with it.

If you want VR right now don't waste your money on the cheaper 3rd party stuff, just get an Oculus. The Vive shills will give anyone backlash for suggesting it but the CV1 is simply the best headset for DCS because of it's Asynchronous Time Warp abilities so you only need to have the game running at 45 fps to have a good experience.

What were you doing when you turned it on? Which mode did you turn on to?

The A/P has two channels, vertical and horizontal. The switch on the right is the vertical and can be set to either hold attitude, or hold altitude. Whatever your current of either was when you flipped the switch is what it'll stay at. If for example, you turned on hold attitude while climbing and then tried to level off, the plane would pitch back up when you release the stick to try and hold that attitude.

You can pause the AP by holding the paddle. When you release the paddle, you'll give the AP a new setting.

The switch on the left is horizontal and can be set to either fly towards the heading set by your HSI, or flying towards the currently selected steerpoint.

I haven't had any issues with the AP that weren't user error. Sometimes I forget I have the AP on and wonder why my plane is banking or climbing thinking the trim is out of whack but really it's just the AP.
