i have dreams about doing a fangame remaking the entirety of Fallout 4's story and make it good. It will be linear as hell but if you do it right, then no one will fucking care. And of course there will be tons of dialogue options and different ways to solve quests.

In this universe his wife and child are dead, but in return he conquered all of the Commonwealth with his loyal followers and made it a safe place to live. Has a bunch of homemade/scrambled together weapons in it, both cheap versions of existing weapons, as well as unique variants like a 9mm rifle and a crossbow. Comes with a bunch of armor too which is really well made.

Only downside is that it requires TTW, and there is no workaround because it uses F3 assets which aren't in the base FNV files.

Easy experience, especially if you go in with the intention of helping the Powder Gangers. You get two extra quests which are just "tell X to fuck off/kill them instead".

Assaulting the prison itself, for me at least, was really fun. I like the big shoot out set pieces. Having them all the time gets boring, but having set locations/endings where stuff like this occurs is a well received treat.

Yes there is. You can still bring Muggy more Mugs that spawn in the world space, you can fight more Zion beasts, Marked Men and other shit that spawns. You can also complete Super Mutant Massacre by farming muties ever 4 days. Though it's kinda hard because there's not even 50 mutants in the whole game unless you spawn farm them.

Not sure if there's anything you can do with FA that you can't do with Doctor.
At least in 2, you don't really need Outdoorsman once you get the car.
Gambling is totally unnecessary unless you really like the idea of gambling.
Throwing is a waste unless you're doing a grenade only run or something.

You're going to be exempt from the normal Legion rules for as long as Caesar thinks it's a good idea for you to be exempt from those rules. If that ever falls through, you're going to be in for a rough time unless you enjoy being what is basically a dehumanized resource to be used and disposed of whenever convenient.

This is true whether your character is male or female. I'd say a female character has as much reason to support the Legion as a male one; assuming they act out of pure self-interest, both will be in for a privileged life in the best-case scenario or a rather unpleasant one in the worst-case scenario.

Bad move

After being put into a coma due to his incomplete systems during the Great War, House wakes up in 2138, literally YEARS before even Shady Sands is founded. Despite this, he makes literally zero effort to use any of his large robot workforce that he has access to(you know, the one he uses to recruit the 3 senpaitachi in the first place) to try to rebuild Vegas, and get the local peoples on his side. If he had, Vegas could have been a self built functional city state before the NCR was even a thing.

To top this off, when he does get off his ass, a mere 7 years before NV begins, when the NCR first shows up in the region, he illogically screws over most of the local population by forcing them into run down slums, which only destoryed any possible support he could have gotten from them, but also dramatically weakened his power base.(if you remember, he recruited the Three Families and built Vegas to ward off the NCR a bit, as they didn't want to waste troops trying to take Vegas when they needed to fight the Legion)

Then, House takes the singular worst approach when it comes to running Vegas itself, being so entirely hands off that the White Gloves try to revert to cannibalism( a break in their contract), the Omertas develop the derogatory slang term "Not at Home" for House, and make their plans to gas the strip and take it over because House can't run it, and House's hand picked successor from the Chairmen betrays him as well.

THEN, to further fuck up his own plans, he sends one of his personal, and easily traceable, robots to organize an obviously suspicious order of 7 packages of various misc items, which only makes it incredibly easy to find the plat chip if you know what to look for, like Benny did.

This results in Benny getting the plat chip, House being left with zero agents, and his entire plan threatens to fall apart

-Not establishing a power base, and rebuilding the city, despite having over 100 years to do so
-Throwing out the overwhelming majority of people who could have reinforced his powerbase simply because they wouldn't play doll house dress up, despite the fact he didn't need them all too
-Not bothering to manage his assests in any sort of reasonable or logical way, resulting in all of them turning on him
-Setting up the singularly most stupid and obvious delivery method for his mcguffin item he NEEDED to have any chance at winning the war.
House did literally EVERYTHING possible wrong

To be perfectly honest, House is easily, bar none, one of, if not THE, singularly most poorly written major character in the Fallout franchise, excluding that non-canon BoS shit. Nothing he does or says makes any sense, or hold any sort of logical weight to it.

The only reason I can see for liking him is that House is basically the worst of the Internet's armchair intellectualism rolled into one character. He uses big words, and likes to talk a whole bunch of theory, but nothing he actually says makes sense.

Almost all of them came as a collaboration from other modders, that's why you can find most weapons elsewhere.
Thing is, they tend to be better in the pack than standalone.

It doesn't matter who takes control. the Legion has been confirmed, by word of god, to not be able to outlive Caesar for the simple fact they don't follow Caesar's ideals, they only follow him.

It doesn't matter who takes over, every commander is going to try to sieze the throne for himself, and its going to tear the Legion back into the same tribal society it was before Caesar untied it.
