Major issues (subject to change):
Queue times - Long queue times <--> Less people want to play.
Better rewards - pvp gear is a bad idea. and not just cosmetic shit
Server refresh rates - They are shit, have to predict hitboxes (even if you seem to be in melee range the person might be several yalms away)
Diminishing returns & CC - Needs balance (just copy WoW model no need to be a special snowflake.
PVP talents - clunky and annoying, combined with how shitty FF macro system is. Balance what is there instead of adding more.
World PVP areas, objectives(servers?) ...and a reason to leave town (maybe more S ranks with better rewards, or FC wars similar to TERA)
FF14 community as a whole - I was sad when the fenrir pet was selling for 2 mil since people would rather drop that much on a pet than play 5 minutes of arena.

So do you think we will see the Samurai job in The next expansion? I already have a feeling dancer is going to be a new job.

nothing's wrong with it. Crafted gear can be bought off the MB which means anybody with the money can access it (and it's generally even cheaper to get the mats and have it crafted). Plenty of people - from those who care about contributing to their party to those who don't - have the money to buy that gear. So you will find people in full i250 greens who fall off Ozma's platform and you will find those who duo queue with healers and make your expert run take under 15 minutes with all their giant pulls and aoe spam.

What with being only a month into the patch, weekly lockouts on savage gear and scripture won't have given people the time to deck themselves out in blue gear. Even then there's often a few pieces of crafted gear in every patch that people prefer due to the secondaries.
