It has the fastest possible TTK in the game, can achieve it at ranges most weapons can't even dream about, inks a ton of turf, covers long distances faster than most shooters, has three decent kits, and it's not even that slow and vulnerable, you're much more screwed if you miss with Blaster or Dynamo. If you smell shit when using it, it's probably you, because H3 doesn't come with an air freshener.

I am more than sure that they do still have power. They needed zapfish to power their octoweapons of mass destruction to destroy Inkopolis. The weapons are easy to defeat for a fully-equipped inkling with extensive battle experience and a super-strong weapon (technology in which Sheldon couldn't replicate, which implies that it's more powerful than regular Splattershot the replica is based on) in an open arena with no civilians to protect, but imagine the terror that would ensue if Octomaw or Octostomp were released into a tight city with majority of population being ordinary inklings that don't do turf wars and other non-inking sea creatures (mainly jellies). We saved Inkopolis from inevitable destruction.

The next day I made an alt to not tarnish my achievement by using lesser weapons (and for target practice), picked up Tri-Nouveau just for giggles and accidentally got it to S+ within four rotations. hello /ink/!
i am writing a new story about the squid sisters called, um... "sisters". it is about the days where they were still children, though the exact times are ambiguous. it's very headcanon heavy, of course! the main thing is that in it, the squid sisters are orphans. the rest is all surprises!
i'll be splitting it into chapters (pretty short ones - this one is only about 800 words) because i more plan on doing scene by scene than having one continuous sequence. but that means you guys get to read it early!
only the first chapter is done, but the second chapter is well on its way.

i think it is especially headcanon heavy, compared to my other works. it is not just what i usually do, which is applying what we know and creating interaction between it, only filling in the small gaps - this is entirely new territory, delving into an entire time period we don't know anything about, that could be just about anything! even stuff like the way i portray marie is very heavy on headcanon - i even had a few friends say they thought of them as the complete opposite, with a stolid and caring marie protecting an emotionally fragile callie.
i hope that makes sense.
i'm glad to hear it! i really do enjoy writing, and dropping by every once in a while to drop a work off is something i feel almost compelled to do.
